Would be intrested to know what engine is in this. Im building one next but was going to use a cb500/550 engine but if there is a better engine to use then im happy to do so.
Maybe a cb400f with 440 bigbore? 6 gears and just a tad more sporty in feel.

This is absolutely NOT an RC181, but an Hungarian built look-alike with a Yamaha engine! Anybody wants pictures of the naked bike, I can send by e-mail.
It's a replica of a RC181, the original bike looks exactly like this one.
@@ChokeSlam123 Then you should take a better look at the real thing, or, better still, read my book "Honda's Four-Stroke race history 1954 ~ 1981"! Among the things that are not right on this bike are the front fork, the front brake, the position of the footrests and the frame construction there, the carburetors, the red thing under the seat, the seat upholstery, the position of the megaphones,and the whole engine of course. Nice bike, but don't call it a replica, replica meaning "exact copy. Look what George Beale has done!

Stop getting all pedantic over people tagging there Hondas as rc 181 replicas. Ive seen two comments from you on different youtube videos.
There replicas.. So what if there not a nut and bolt exact replica.. Ducati sold mike hailwood replicas after his 78 tt win that were not exact replicas of the bike he won the tt with.. Ducati still called them a replica.
The people whose bikes your knocking may not be able to afford to build an exact replica like George Beale.. So this is there rendition of a replica..

No, it's not exactly this bike, but Hailwood uses also an RC 181 for his rides and exhibitions. :)

Es ist eine 1:1 Kopie vom originalen RC181 Motor, die genauen technischen Details habe ich leider nicht zur Hand.
