Love your Keeping Room. My mom is still stitching at 87. She was an artist in oil painting. Then switched to quilting and now cross stitches. She loves her old gal Singers too. They make the most glorious sounds when sewing on them. I have one from the 50’s, and a vtg Anker which is just like the old Singers. I also have an electronic “modern” one from the 80’s which I love too. Something about a room where you can stitch by a fire while, looking at the snow really helps the long winters pass. We live far north and I love having the seasons even if just to enjoy watching the birds and other critters travel through our woods. At least we are closer to spring than not.
You are so right; there is something comforting about stitching near a stove while the snow covers the earth and the birds are feasting on corn, still, I long for Spring.
So happy to hear you and James are feeling better. Ooh the puppies are so adorable and the snow sure is beautiful. Just love listening to you talk about the history of things. So very very interesting! Thank you for always sharing with us.
What a sweet joy to get a peek at your antique and vintage sewing treasures! I would love to someday see your hand crank machine. I have 2 hand crank Singers that I found while thifting during the pandemic. They work great! You have inspired me to look for lovely old baskets. Thank you for creative inspiration.
I have always been so thankful that my mother taught me how to sew. I am a fan of the quaint antique sewing notions and everything connected with them including spool cabinets, threads, old buttons, pin cushions....all the many things used long ago in the sewing process so I especially enjoyed this video today. I have one spool cabinet with 3 drawers and another large variety that's on legs and was the perfect addition to a nook in our family room. In my sewing area/closet I have tried to use early cabinets and stacks of old fabrics ...it makes me smile when I open the door. Stay warm....glad to hear you recovered from your illness.
My mom let me sew on a machine much like the one Jeri had on her desk (with supervision!) when I was 4 years old. I still have that old machine in my possession. It does heavy weight sewing better than my modern Singer. The machine had been a tredle machine once upon a time, but later converted to an electric machine by the installation of a a small motor.
Ahhh, my favorite season is winter, beautiful with its pure white cover! And the little ones jumping with joy on it and the happy kitties in the window 💜🌷💜🌷💜🌷💜🌷💜🌷😻🐕💜❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️......
Jeri, always a pleasure to watch your lovely and informative videos. You definitely have some special sewing treasures. I'm sure they are endlessly inspiring. Your guests will never be at a loss for questions and conversations! 🙂I also learned something today when you mentioned "mercerized" thread. I've always thought it meant that it was "better" somehow, but felt nudged to look it up to see exactly what it does mean. Interesting! It is a type of chemical bath that helps the cotton take dyes better so the colors are deeper. So thank you for mentioning the word so that I would finally check to see why it's described that way. Loved watching the pups! 😃 Dogs absolutely know how to have fun! Enjoy your sewing room. I love mine.
I'm so glad you looked up " mercerized", I meant to and never got around to it. Another expression on the threads and boxes is "boil fast" meaning the threads stay colorfast even if washed in boiling water. ( I had to look that up too!)
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow So many little details we don't think about. We grow so accustomed to just using them because they're familiar products to us.
I always buy the box lots of sewing things at auctions because there is always a lovely surprise. I have acquired many treasures that way. Thank you for a fantastic video!
So many lovely treasures. Just this week I found my husband’s sock with a hole and put it aside to darn it. We have been sick also for much of January but I am beginning to get back to my art and making Valentine’s crafts which are so nice when the cold and snow keeps us in. I would like to watch a video of you painting and possibly tea with maybe Lewis Carrol or George MacDonald (my favorite author).
I do still darn socks. Sometimes I use the old darning cotton thread if it seems like it's still strong enough. Otherwise, I split 4 ply cotton yarn into 2 strands and use that. It's fun to get out the old darning eggs too!
What a winter wonderland Jeri…those pups at play. They don’t seem to mind it at all. I’m glad you are better now and thank you for showing us all the amazing antiques in your cosy little sewing corner… I love your variety of spool boxes.♥️🤍♥️
When my Gram passed my mother just let neighbors come in and take whatever sewing notions they wanted. I was able to get a few items. Her wooden darning ( don't know what thats called) and a wooden sewing container with some embroidery floss. I love all your antiques. When I see some of them it takes me right back to my Gram. Thank you. Glad you both are recovering. ❤
Jeri….I just love your cozy sewing room and you sharing your beautiful needle and spool cabinets along with your sewing accessories. My favorite cabinet is the one with the lovely bee hinges.❤🐝Thank you so much for sharing and stay warm.
Your antique spool boxes aretruly wonderful! I love to buy sewing boxes in thrift shops and will occaisonally be lucky enough to find old cardboard needle holders, thimbles, or pin cushions inside! I recently had the priviledge of helping a friend's family sort through and organize thier dear mother's home after her passing. I helped care for their 100 year old Mom over her last year (she still lived in her home of 68 years) and I knew that she had followed her own mother's tradition of doing all types of needle work and sewing! I found boxes and tins full of vintage sewing supplies ans hundreds of hand embellished doilies, hankies, aprons, and tablecloths! In the attic, I unearthed a White rotary series 77 sewing machine with it's tin of attachments and manual!!! The look of absolute joy on my face as I lowered it down the attic stairs to one of the family members must have shown. She immediately offered the beautiful machine to me! None of them sew and they felt as though their Mom and Grandmother would have been much happier to have the machine go to someone who would actually use it and treasure it! So, I will now add this to my collection which includes a treddle sewing machine in a magnificent cabinet and a hand crank model! So, if you add to my fascination with old sewing things, doing crafts, and gardening my love of Tasha Tudor (whom I was lucky enough to meet) , Charles Dickens, and Beatrice Potter, and you can see why I enjoy watching your videos so much! Thank you, Geri! I will be there readily awaiting what's next!
Thank you for this video made my day, glad you are on the road to recovery. Here in Wisconsin about the same amount of snow and the flu for about two weeks, gave me hope I will get better.
I get it, this flu (or whatever it is) is very stubborn and i thought it would never end; it still has lingering effects. I've no doubt we will all get through it, so hang in there!
I’m so glad you guys are feeling better, and how good it is to see you again!! I’ve always had a soft spot for sewing notions. How fun to look through all of your beautiful spool boxes. Your videos are just treasures indeed. They are such a wonderful treat to be enjoyed. Thanks again, and stay cozy ❤️🧵🪡
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow we do indeed! Now we’re having lots of rain. I’m so looking forward to spring, even though I try so very hard to appreciate every day of every season 😊🌷
And the unique valuable antiques, silver and gold spools, wonderful sewing machine, the rabbit and duck friends that accompany them are amazing!❄️🐰❄️☃️❄️🦆❄️❄️❄️☃️❄️❄️❄️....
I can only imagine how cozy it would be to be at that little table , in front of the little fire, sewing the day away , with the snow falling outside. A friend moved and gave me her old Singer sewing machine, like yours. It is in the beautiful wood cabinet , with the box of old accessories and the original operating manual in the drawer. I have never used it. It is in what I call the sewing room , with an antique armoire and old wicker rocker. It really is just a decor piece. but I just can't let it go.
So sweet. Had a friend give me her old sewing stash full of sweet wooden spools and things you can't buy any more. I think displaying those in baskets is a great idea. I think I will do that.❤
Wonderful Jeri. I love antiques & vintage items. Your old Singer sewing machine is beautiful. They are by far the best sewing machines I believe. My mum had one. It was a hand cranked machine also but my dad, being an electrician converted it for her into a foot pedal operated machine with a vintage plug, pedal and lead. It was beautiful and had an old compartment for accessories. I used it a few times and had possession of it for a good while as mum had no use for it anymore and it always had this lovely old distinctive smell about it. I think my niece ended up with it. I wish I still had it. This video is lovely and takes me back in time. Thank you. Cuddles to Titus and Stella. I do love them so.
My favorite sewiing machine will always be my little Featherweight Singer. I learned to sew on it and stitched so many of my school clothes on that trusty little trooper.
I love to watch your channel. I always learn so much and I don’t feel alone in the things I love to do and the way I want to decorate. I am inspired to try new recipes. I recommend your channel to everyone. Do great that you Great Pyrenees and all your animals!! We love ours GP!
Did you check for covid. Flu or pneumonia. Hope he is 3:10 better soon. From the MIDWEST Do you have a space heater, you can use upstairs. My home stays cold.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow supposed to warm up tomorrow and Tuesday; maybe it will help you both. I'm a homebody so it doesn't bother me that much, but I am getting a little cabin fever now. LOL. Your dogs are adorable in the snow.
I'm so glad you are both feeling better again. I would love it if you would show more of your fabulous needle felted creatures. They just speak to me and I love how realistic you make them look. I love their vintage looking clothes and how lifelike they look. Thank you for your wonderful, interesting videos! 🥰
Good morning, love the pups playing♥️❄️♥️. There’s something so peaceful about the glistening of snow. So glad to hear you’re feeling better as we all just had CIVID over the holidays and so glad that’s behind us. I love your cozy warm sewing room🤎🤎. Oh how I’d love to find an old spool, thread box! I collect old pin cushions, threads, scissors, sock darners, vintage sewing accessories, etc and love sewing so I really love them in my sewing room.
Hello Jeri and critters! Wow, indeed, 10" of snow in Tenn. Thank you for sharing all your sewing boxes, threads, etc. How lovely!!! I'm sorry you were sick, but glad you're both better now.
You have more snow in Tennessee than we have in upstate NY (not to be confused with Western NY, which does have a lot). We've had a couple of snowfalls, 8 inches a couple of weeks ago and 4 inches a few days ago. Currently only a couple of inches on the ground. But today for the first time we reached single-digit temperatures overnight. Sorry to hear that you and your husband were sick. I'm glad you're feeing better!
Glad that you both recovered Jeri! My poor mother was very ill over the entire holiday but has also recovered. It’s been terribly cold up and down the entire eastern coast this winter. The fire in your sewing area is very cozy looking. Before you know it spring will be here and all will renew! As you know I love when you cook and bake so I welcome that in videos …… you both stay well and God Bless…..Brian
Absolutely love your antique boxes! I also have a spool box which my late husband bought me. It’s wooden from an old store that was closing down. It’s not particularly well-made but I love it! These things become more and more precious as you get older. My button tin is an old biscuit tin which was given to my mother in the 1930s when she worked in a biscuit factory in Liverpool. It used to hold family photos. Dreadful to think I thought of throwing it out at one time! It’s now one of my favourite things. 😊
I’m so thankful you’re feeling better! I would so enjoy some tutorials on creating a beautiful garden journal , similar to your Bee journal . And of course lots more videos with your delightful practical seed sowing techniques and your journey into bee keeping ! 🥰
That is nice that you have inherited so many sewing items, it's funny how a simple item can bring such pleasure. Wishing you well in your sewing room in Berlin!
Pleased to know you're feeling stronger Jeri. This is such a cozy and interesting video. I enjoy looking at your antiques. I was surprised to see snow where you are. 💐🥀🌻
Such a cozy vlog. The dogs look like they enjoy the snow. I grew up in Georgia. So snow was rare. My grandfather was from North Dakota, he'd say "You have no idea how terrible snow can be"....I still love snow nonetheless ❤
I am on the western slope of Colorado. It’s just been snowing the last few weeks. I love every season, even the snow as long as I am in the side looking out. lol. I have a window seat that is so cozy to set in, stitch and watch the snow. Your spool boxes are beautiful. I love vintage sewing items.
My problem with cold weather is that I worry too much about the outside animals. Even though our donkeys and farm animals have a big barn, I'm so concerned about their welfare in freezing temps.
So happy you both are feeling better! We have snow also, but I wasn't able to get my poppy seeds out, as I was not home...I have this feeling this won't be our last snow. This view of your spool cabinets touches my heart. I have a few myself, and they are used for my sewing tools. The coolest one that I bought, at an auction, was still full of the store stock, looked brand new. I have a tall one, that I use as an end table, bought at our "Big Flea", I saw it down the aisle and couldn't get there fast enough, and grabbed the tag as someone else came up, she asked if I was going to buy it, I said for sure! I was raised by a seamstress, and am the only sibling that sews, and it all makes my heart smile. These aging fingers still push a needle. Happy New Year!
What a marvelous find at the auction! It sounds like you have a wonderful collection and you put it to good use. My mother was an embroiderer, seamstress and quilter. All the women in our family took to needlework.
Glad you and husband are feeling better. Another delightful video. Thank you! I have been doing slow stitching and making little felt characters for the past week so this video was nice.
I loved watching your Great Pyrenees playing in the snow and the geese. I have a vintage sewing machine and I have to fix the tension. It from the 1920's. I know because I have the original sewing book. It came with a sterling thimble. I love antiques! Your house looks so cozy.
Hello Jeri, so glad you and James have recovered. Glad, also, that we did not get as much snow as you nor what was predicted for us. I can tolerate it somewhat, but Charles has a hard time. Although the extreme humidity we always have, he likes. ") Enjoyed this video so much. The Brainerd cabinets were so lovely, such detail that is never seen now days. Several years I have been looking for a spool cabinet, went to an auction a few years ago and the Star, J&P , 4 drawers they had sold for near $700. The person I was bidding against I picked up quickly that they would pay whatever, so I stopped at $500. I always get into some trouble after watching some of your videos, as I go shopping on line to see what I can find. ")))) As I am preparing to sow some sweet peas in the next few weeks, I did rewatch that video you have. Appreciation for all the time, history lessons, and joy your videos give. In Joy
Just so you know, there are Six different Star Spool Cabinets on on Ebay right now! ( starting at $175) Hope I don't get you into too much trouble......
Getting ideas from your videos is not really trouble, ") just an excuse to go on the hunt, of which I did and negotiated a fair price for one of the Star spool cabinets. So exciting. Thanks.@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow
Jeri, thank you for your videos, they are very interesting. I would like you to show us your old dolls and tell us their stories. A big greeting from Argentina!
So happy that you both are feeling better! I love it when you show the inside of your home off. Fabulous items and such a cozy feel when it's snowing outside.
Warm wishes for this new year and glad you and James are recovered from the nasty illness you had. Looking forward to your postings of any kind. Most of all I love when you show your creations and have tea with your sweet mismatched china pieces 😊
I have always wanted a spool cabinet but have been unable to find one in my price range. Maybe one day, Thank you so much for showing us the ones you have.
So happy to see you and your new video…Such great sewing collections, sewing displays, sewing machines, sewing threads, needles.buttons boxes and drawers! I at one time collected all of that too! Such fun for the hunt, right!!!? So glad y’all are better and back!
You have very interesting antique sewing treasures and your knowledge of them is quite profound, Jeri. I enjoyed learning. That old black Singer sewing machine is strikingly beautiful. Glad to learn it's still functional.
I have a commercial 5 spool drawer, plus needle drawer, box from my great grandfather’s ( and also granddaddy’s) dry goods store. I’m not a great seamstress but still keep my threads in it. A useful, practical and pretty heirloom ! Great conversation piece, too!
I love snow since it is a rarity where I live. Your puppies looked so happy playing in the snow, so sweet. I love your collection of vintage sewing boxes. Now I'm going to be on the lookout for one. I'm also glad that you all are feeling better.
I'm so glad you guys are feeling better. ❤ We live in Kodak and have a lot of snow, coming from Northwest Indiana I had enough snow there as well, but it is beautiful. Next week 70 and rain so hopefully the flooding won't be too bad. (it always comes with this weather in winter) Lovely video as usual!
One of my favorite subjects! I also collect antique & vintage sewing notions & ephemera. Also have a beautiful Coats Mile-End spool cabinet. It's unique because somewhere along the line, someone very expertly painted in the carved flower design on the drawer corners. Love it!
Loved seeing all your cotton reels in their homes Jeri :) Your puppies must be about one year old now? I would like to hear more about your animals again when you have time. I always love hearing about your antiques, your recipes, flowers, everything really.
Hi Jeri ! I bet the snow was a surprise! it sure has been cold , thankful we are keeping warm ! I have my great grandmother's wood sewing box it has 4 drawers for the spool drawer it does have the separate, with nice pretty little drawer pulls and the wording on each drawer is readable. Right now I have some necklaces and bracelets in it ! Love your cozy room! Blessings Paula
Thanks for sharing your beautiful sewing area and spool cabinets! 🥰😍❤️I have wanted one for years and years but the ones I have found are many hundreds of $$$. Maybe one day I will find one in my budget. 😊
I loved looking at all the vintage sewing notions and have desired a spool cabinets myself. Haven't found one in my budget though. I would pay $200 but I normally see them for $4-600. Glad to hear you and James are feeling better.
Sooty you’ve been ill but glad you’re on the mend. Loved seeing the dogs playing in the snow. Beautiful pups. Somehow it just seems right that a cat should be inside and warm. I take care of some feral cats and here in SC with the recent cold snap have been busy putting out feral cat houses. Titus looks just right inside warm & snug. Loved seeing the spool boxes and chests. I have one but the lettering is gone. It’s big enough to use as an end table and I love it. Got it years ago for $200 in an antique shop. Take care & be well. Looking forward to another video. I delight in seeing your lovely antiques.
Started the year with a buster video. Absolutely loved it, already one of my many favorites. These cabinets are hard to find. Im so lucky I have two and got them very reasonable. Love everything you post thank you. Found a sock wood mender in one drawer very very old.

I live in Middle Tennessee, and I also enjoyed the unusual snowfall. I actually thought you might live in New England because your lovely home has so many colonial antique touches. Indeed, you have some wonderful item and collections... love all your videos!
Thats a good place to pick up sewing items, and estate sales too.
Valentine crafts sounds very delightful.... Glad you are feeling better as well.
I was planing on working a few paintings in future videos.
They lay in the ice like geese, they love it!
Darning egg? I have one.
@@hyacinth4368 thank you
Jeri….I just love your cozy sewing room and you sharing your beautiful needle and spool cabinets along with your sewing accessories. My favorite cabinet is the one with the lovely bee hinges.❤🐝Thank you so much for sharing and stay warm.
I couldn't believe a spool cabinet could have Bee Brackets! I was lucky to find it.
How fun, like a treasure hunt!
I'm guessing you have this cold snap up in Kentucky as well, Hot cider!
Love the Winter scene and animals that are enjoying the snow.
Glad to see the birds and geese are warm and have food feeders.
You might want to give it a go, the old machine that is; sometimes they stitch much better than the new ones.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow you may have inspired me to try
So sweet. Had a friend give me her old sewing stash full of sweet wooden spools and things you can't buy any more. I think displaying those in baskets is a great idea. I think I will do that.❤
Jeri, your sewing area is so cute!
Good morning Jerri, great to see and hear from you again.
Blessings to you.
I love to watch your channel. I always learn so much and I don’t feel alone in the things I love to do and the way I want to decorate. I am inspired to try new recipes. I recommend your channel to everyone. Do great that you Great Pyrenees and all your animals!! We love ours GP!
Thank you! GP's are wonderful dogs. The fellow in the red coat is quite a senior citizen now, at age 13. The other boys are only a year old.
Oh my heart is full. The sounds the drawers makes are wonderful!
How beautiful. My husband is still fighting a cold - going on 3 weeks now with a terrible cough. So glad you are feeling better.
Did you check for covid. Flu or pneumonia. Hope he is 3:10 better soon. From the MIDWEST
Do you have a space heater, you can use upstairs.
My home stays cold.
spaghetti sounds good. But also Chilli or stew or soup.
We have 10 ft ceilings and a space heater just won''t work in my real studio, I wish! We had the Flu, still not 100%
I know how your hubby feels, it's a long lasting virus.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow supposed to warm up tomorrow and Tuesday; maybe it will help you both. I'm a homebody so it doesn't bother me that much, but I am getting a little cabin fever now. LOL. Your dogs are adorable in the snow.
This was another wonderful video so full of your knowledge of your treasures. I never get tired of listening to you speak. 🥰
They're having fun in the snow 🐕⛄️❄️☃️🐕 Stay warm in your cosy room.
I'm so glad you are both feeling better again. I would love it if you would show more of your fabulous needle felted creatures. They just speak to me and I love how realistic you make them look. I love their vintage looking clothes and how lifelike they look. Thank you for your wonderful, interesting videos! 🥰
Gladly, I love to show my Hopalong Hollowfolk!
Glad you're both feeling better & stronger-God Bless you and your Loved Ones always ❤❤❤
The prices of the Spool cabinets have gone thru the roof! I'm glad there are still small sewing collectibles at good prices.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow I agree so am happy with the small items🤎. If it’s meant to be, hopefully one day will find one in my meager budget 😂
LOVE the intro and all the rest- thank you!
It was certainly a surprise storm, temps still quite low but I see the sun peeking through today.
Give your mother a hug for me; we can relate to that miserable illness, it really takes a lot out of a person.
That biscuit tin is a treasure!
I’m so thankful you’re feeling better! I would so enjoy some tutorials on creating a beautiful garden journal , similar to your Bee journal . And of course lots more videos with your delightful practical seed sowing techniques and your journey into bee keeping ! 🥰
Will do!!
Your grandfather sounds like me, when I was telling my kids, "I used to walk to school with the snow up to my waist!"
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow ❤️
Love seeing your great collections! I appreciate being able to see such glorious antiques! As a child,😂 I grew up with a some.
Wow looks so different when it has been kissed by the snow.
Love all your lovely videos look forward to each one God bless!
Glad you and husband are feeling better. Another delightful video. Thank you! I have been doing slow stitching and making little felt characters for the past week so this video was nice.
That was very interesting and it was lovely to see the figs, the cats and the snow too xxx❤
I loved watching your Great Pyrenees playing in the snow and the geese. I have a vintage sewing machine and I have to fix the tension. It from the 1920's. I know because I have the original sewing book. It came with a sterling thimble. I love antiques! Your house looks so cozy.
I've had to do the same on my featherweight Singer, many times
Vous nous avez fait entrer dans votre magnifique royaume qui regorge de trésors merci à vous ❤
💟 love watching your videos and all that you create in your life. such beautiful and magical things.
Oh how I enjoyed this video. Thank you so much ~ Janet 😘
You too Janet!
Fascinating stuff! I never tire of your collection tours ❤
Jeri, thank you for your videos, they are very interesting. I would like you to show us your old dolls and tell us their stories. A big greeting from Argentina!
Ok will do, sometime soon.
Keep an eye on ebay and Facebook Marketplace, something good may turn up!
The old Singer is great except that it has no reverse.

What a wonderful collection of items used in days gone by.
Those old spool cabinets are wonderful. We just got one out of storage and I cant wait to use it. Thanks for sharing!
I love snow since it is a rarity where I live. Your puppies looked so happy playing in the snow, so sweet. I love your collection of vintage sewing boxes. Now I'm going to be on the lookout for one.

Oh my gosh! We will finally fill our pond and the grass will turn green again!
One of my favorite subjects! I also collect antique & vintage sewing notions & ephemera. Also have a beautiful Coats Mile-End spool cabinet. It's unique because somewhere along the line, someone very expertly painted in the carved flower design on the drawer corners. Love it!
Wonderful!
Loved seeing all your cotton reels in their homes Jeri :) Your puppies must be about one year old now? I would like to hear more about your animals again when you have time. I always love hearing about your antiques, your recipes, flowers, everything really.
Pups are a year old and crazy! I've never heard spools of thread called Cotton Reels... I like that.
Wonderful!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful sewing area and spool cabinets! 🥰😍❤️I have wanted one for years and years but the ones I have found are many hundreds of $$$. Maybe one day I will find one in my budget. 😊
Keep your eyes open for one, all of mine were purchased at good prices. Ebay is sometimes pretty good.
Love your home, it is like a museum of wonderful things. Love you videos also, so very interesting.
I loved looking at all the vintage sewing notions and have desired a spool cabinets myself. Haven't found one in my budget though. I would pay $200 but I normally see them for $4-600. Glad to hear you and James are feeling better.
Keep an eye on Ebay, they have some good deals.
I hope you have someone who appreciates your beautiful things when you are gone. Everything you have is a piece of lost history.
Unfortunately, none of my family likes old things.
Thankyou for another interesting & fun video. Sorry to hear you all was sick but glad to know you all are better.
It must make a great end table. The is a site online where you can purchase the Spool cabinet replacement parts for the lettering.
Gorgeous old cabinets. Glad you are feeling better.
Started the year with a buster video. Absolutely loved it, already one of my many favorites. These cabinets are hard to find. Im so lucky I have two and got them very reasonable. Love everything you post thank you. Found a sock wood mender in one drawer very very old.
I am happy you are better. So many are sick. The dogs love that snow. It is so nice to see your farm and animals. Such a nice video.

It's magical with the snow!
I'm glad you're back. I love old sewing items too so this was a fun video.
I live in Middle Tennessee, and I also enjoyed the unusual snowfall. I actually thought you might live in New England because your lovely home has so many colonial antique touches. My style is similar to yours and quite unlike what I call the "Hobby Lobby Farmhouse" style of most people around here. I call my style "Old Curiosity Shop." I love antiques!
I call my style Early American/ English Cottage.
