Have adored the Thompson Twins when i first heard 'Love On Your Side' as a six year old in 1983 then went out a got 'Quick Step & Side Kick' and have been a lifelong fan ever since! On the subject of the 'Art of Noise', they did a wicked theme tune for 'The Krypton Factor'!
That's the mark of a true fan. A friend of mine has the logo tattoo as well. We met at a Howard Jones gig. And when he showed me his tattoo I knew he was a die hard fan.
Couldn't agree more! I was a fan in the day, still playing their hit compilations, but only recently discovered their totally underrated (and magnificent!) 'Queer'-album. I hope that one too will get a re-release sometime soon.
Sou do Brasil e acompanhei toda a carreira do Thompson twins e tom Bailey ..... independente dos anos e tempos de experiência gostaria muito de um novo álbum seja 2025 ....seja 2026.... está aí um bom momento .
Its interesting he was married to Alannah from 1991-2004. which means theyd stayed together throughout the 80s mayhem of global success. Then sealed the deal when it had all died down in the 90s. When so many of those 80s icons were pushed aside for the new era of EDM, Stock aitken waterman & brit rock pop like Oasis. The trio group had split in 1986. Thats real love.

I had the three headed logo tattooed on my arm in 1987, it doesn't look as good these days but I still love it.

The Thompson Twins is one of the most underrated band of the 80s. They deserve so much more recognition and credit!

Талант з роками, як діамант після огранки
Ao sabor do tempo.....para além da ficção científica
