Almost 20yo and fighting clinically diagnosed depression and chronic anxiety, feeling alone and wondering if life really matters. That’s my daily living for 4 years now. absolutely beautiful, i myself as a soon to be 13 year old love Lil Peep he has helped me so much over these past few years when me and my mum moved in to a house together. we don't have a good relationship at all and we just had a fight. "get out of my eye sight i can't even look at you, you've been so stupid recently" her exact words, thank you @neptune.
My dad used to always say that me and my brother are the reason why he's unhappy, why we are so "brainless ", "cowards" , " no reason to look at ". Used to scream, destroy our belongings, our god damn cactuses, tear apart our notebooks while doing homework when he'd get drunk or got bad reviews at work as always. Mom didn't do shit, she would just sit scared watching how he'd go crazy. Had to lie to the teacher we forgot to bring our homework, school manuals and the classmates would make copy of theirs and give it to us for free. Even though we were just kids and never caused trouble to anyone. This shit hit hard when you're young, especially when you're reminded everyday how low you are and why nobody should give a shit about you. The self esteem was gone. As soon as I built enough courage and said to myself I aint letting this deep shit define who I am, which happened later in my teens, I started from scratch to "build myself" again. Though shit, because you realize how lonely and hollowed you are. But fuck it popped some Brand New and Lil Peep, when he came out, and kept on going. Felt like sharing this, same shit happened to us as well. Worked hard to establish myself as an artist in the film/games industry and I moved out as soon as I was 19. Couldnt be more happier. Now I'm traveling the world working on big projects. Still feeling hollowed though but I surrounded myself with people I admire and projects that means something to me and to many other people. I realized that there's something in me that nobody know about, something that will always be mine and I can be proud of. If you think something is wrong, that's the first sign that you are right. My favourite song is Toxic City, reminds of a moment that happened last year.
