No one's buying these but old people for way to much money. These guys will be in for a surprise. My generation isn't buying these cars and we won't for that price. The only people I know with classics bought them in the 90s for nothing. Other then that not one of my friends has a classics even though we all love cars. It's never going to happen.

I love the classics, regardless of make. I get that modern stuff is a mostly easy answer to getting from A to Z. But all the sensors and technology they are cramming in to cars nowadays is what will guarantee that cars are disposable not fixable. Tracing faults in electronics is time consuming and expensive. When my 68 Fairmont starts to run a little ratty, I pop the dizzy cap off, drag the points file through the points a little and it runs perfect for another thousand miles. I don't need big horsepower to go fast, or Bluetooth or curtain air bags and electronic gizmo's, I smile every mile with some music and a great exhaust note. LOVE the 60s classics.

I've been to some really bad junkyards in Pennsylvania and Maryland that had people working for them that were just plain ignorant and hateful not to mention that they didn't care about what they scrapped. Wish we had a junkyard like this in our area.

The old man behind the counter was like that will be $30.00 and the guy was like you said it was $20.00, then the old man said now it's $40.00 the guy said well you can keep it and stormed off. I get up there with a wonder bar radio and the guy is like that's $50.00 even though he said on the phone $40.00, I said ok $50.00 it is, and I walked out with $100.00 radio.....true story!!! That guys is probably long dead......lets not forget about Windy Hills either!!!! French lake always had the good stuff, but always knew what it was worth.....Windy Hills was pretty well picked through at that was 33 years ago!!!!

We used to have a junkyard like this in my town. Not as many cars, and not as organized, but the owner knew everything that was there and would walk you out to the car(s) that might have your parts. He got old and finally retired, and the person who bought the junkyard promptly shut the place down for "liability reasons" and crushed _everything_ for scrap. There were a lot of unhappy classic car owners in the area...

It was the end of an era, and ALSO the end of huge inventories of old iron. Environmental regulations coming in, iron prices good, and guys my dad's age retiring!!! End of an Era. considering i see no chops in the bodywork and a lot of normally sold stuff still there, i bet they charge a pretty penny and don't allow you to cut off panels. so a lot of cars just sit there, unloved. wreckers lately have been turning the screws on us pickers, i often just go to ebay because it's not worth my time to go scavenge a yard only to pay the same price for a part that i know i can find online.
