The AC on the Hector does not work if the car is parked in the sun. It seems that this problem is related to the Infotainment system which houses the AC controls. We had a bad time during our test drive. Same problem also exists with the Astor.

i feel its the driver or the bad roads we have. i reside in the gcc and ive seen people drive cars from 8 lack to crores being driven at 160km smoothly. my mom is used to that and she drives our 1999 zen at 100-110km/h when we come here without any issue. (it takes a while to reach that speed🤣 but my mom never found the car unstable( the frame is quiet rusted btw and many things are broken on top of that) dont blame the cars if the drivers dont have the skills

@@hiteshanand6498 it definetly the driver. im relatives from india visited. they felt uncomfortable when my dad was driving at 120-140km/h in a ford edge( pretty damn stable car). these people arent used to high speeds so they claim its the car to protect their ego. my mom has come and rented alto's and has reached 100-110km/h and never said anything about it feeling unstable.

@@sweethome7567 Even my friend also bought Hector my friend is very enjoying and really liked the car. Seltos and Harrier is smaller and overpriced. Creta is ugly looking facelift car. Harrier is costly and doesn't have premium and little safety features. Harrier doesn't gets front parking camera and front camera. Rear Disc Brakes is not available. Safari is also overpriced and misses front sensors and front camera. Hector is better in terms of braking performance and comfort. And these cars also misses with an safety I-call feature. If you have some problem in the Hector, you can use the I- call feature.
Mg hector is much better kia seltos build quality is very poor. Mg hector has space, comfort, luxury and great boxy looks.

I bought hector plus sharp automatic petrol in nov 2020....I would like to raise one biggest pain point i.e VERY VERY POOR MILEAGE IN PETROL VARIANTS. mileage in diesel variants is fine. It gives me 7-8kmpl in city max 8-9 even though i drive very smooth. On highway it gives 12-13kmpl @ average 100 kmph. jiske liye mileage ek concern hai wo bilkul bhool jaye....baaki it’s all good. Aur haan automatic ka waise bhi thoda kam rehta hai but itta kam nhi hona chahiye 😰

Stability seriously!! 120 km/hr on the highway which hold 170 bhp. You dont talk about rollover in hector. WagonR also stable in 120 on straight driving condition.

So, according to me you can go with hector rather than seltos. It's features, drive quality and comfort are marvelous. Very much impressed with the car

@@aayushmaanjaiswal0806 bhai in Delhi diesel vehicles are not allowed after 10 years from purchase. Therefore buying a premium suv of around 22 lacs and getting selling it for 6 to 7 lacs within 10 years is such a pain. Harrier doesnt provide petrol variant therefore diesel suv isnt my cup of tea.

i, in my recent studies, have concluded why the tata safari, which is going to be launched will not be much popular as the mg hector plus in the indian market
all our patriotism and hate for china has vanished and we are buying chinese products. see the reasons
1. costlier than the mg hector plus and other vehicles in segment: tata has relesed the ex showroom price of tata safari i.e. 15 lakhs so you can expect it not to be less than 18 lakhs or maybe 19 lakhs as an average on road price. while you get the xuv 500 at 16 lakhs on road price and mg hector plus starts at 15.89 lakhs average. so people will then shift their minds to more luxurious and full size suv's including the likes of jeep compass or mahindra alturas g4.
2. Dimensions- Its obvious that tata safari is going to be more longer and wider than harrier and people would than leave this car and again look for mg hector or mg hector plus both priced at comparatively lesser prices. Moreover, people in India don't care for which company they are profiting they forget their patriotism once it comes to their personal matters.
3. Seating capacity- Tata has committed a blunder here by introducing harrier with 5 seater option. Now since its a 5 seater so obviously you have to place it in competition with kia seltos or creta which are again the leaders in segment. So people start to criticize tata for low sales of harrier.
What tata should've done that they should have introduced harrier as a 7 seater option and then introduced the tata safari in competition of toyota fortuner or ford endeavour which are full size suv's .
Ironically, all of these mistakes have been committed by Morris Garages as well (since hector is 5 seater and hector plus is 6 seater) but still people go and purchase them for petty features like large infotainment or some other insignificant features
So finally in conclusion this is the problem of India that their own companies cease to flourish in the plethora of cars but foreigners enjoy themselves thoroughly. Same was the case with Indian Rajas in british times that they got simply sold to the clever britishers.

The point I'm trying to make is that why do people talk about pseudo patriotism and keep saying that buy indian branded cars when they themselves go and purchase cars from companies which are from the countries which mercilessly wounded and killed col. Santosh Babu and his team . I don't think you even know this Mr. Kejriwal as you might be busy in your life. I hope you were there in place of Col. Santosh Babu and had faced the attack yourselves instead of the martyrs. Why do you blabber so much when you yourselves are not aware of the reality. The present day wherein the presence of chinese companies , our own companies have failed miserably and stupid people go to buy commodities from companies which belong to that country which has killed our own soldiers for some petty small features.
In the same way everyone knows that how our own stupid rajas got shamelessly sold to british authorities and India for some petty luxuries.
And talking of where I live, Mr. Kejriwal I'm fortunate to live in the most luxurious cities of India i.e. Mumbai and I live in The Hiranandani Gardens, Morya Residency. I presume do you live in a gutter or you're maybe worse than that.
