Beautiful bathroom ...... and awesome job! 💞 I too love going vintage shopping. Got it from my my! I've started redoing just a couple of things in our bathroom. I just wanted to change builder grade towel bars. Well it opened up a can of worms. Why did they have to put 2 big holes 🤔 for that?🤷🏽♀️... We moved in our new home in 2018 and it sometimes just take a while getting everything like you want it. Also, don't feel like you are wacky, I don't know how many times I've been to one store for something or returned something to Amazon. I thought I'd be done in 2 days and now it's been 2 weeks and I'm still not finished. 😭.... but I'll get there. Like you said, "Life", happens. Within those 2 wks (for 2 days of those days I wasn't feeling well and the others I had other things to do)! It will get done soon! Right? Thank you for sharing, I just love how you reassure that things will be okay and your calming demeanor. Keep up the good work👏🏽🥳🌟.....
Oh I know all about opening up a can of worms!!! We have a tiny 1/2 bath that we want to redo, but there’s a crack down the middle of the tile flooring. We very much want to take up the flooring (and we will in time) but because of the crack we’re worried there could be a problem with the foundation and we’re just not ready for THAT yet! Best of luck to you in your bathroom renovations - the things that we think should take “no time at all” end up being the biggest pains in our necks. But keep going!!! The end result will be worth it!

So we opted to locate the studs (which we should have done from the beginning) and drill directly into those to pull the molding into the walls. So many lessons were learned! 😅

I always try to find a vintage item first and then after some time I can’t find what I’m looking for, then I will purchase something new. Thank you so much - I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 😆 We used the Lowe’s Pine Select Wood (one step higher from the cheap stuff - only because in the cheaper wood we were having a really hard time finding straight boards). For the floor molding we used 1x4 boards (8ft in length), the main boards are 1x3 boards (again 8ft length) and the topper piece was a 1x2 board. Hope this helps!!!
