From personal experience, I left mine in water for two weeks, furst week it did great but second week all soil roots rotted. Donât think youâre off the hook. Better to cut off all soil roots and stick in water and get all new water roots. Iâm almost sure those roots will melt in another couple of weeks but you took out of water too soon. Keep us posted
@@yolyrom7233this is my question! I canât find information. Is it better to just water prop it prior to placing in pon and get a good set of water roots?
Also just wondering if that water metre stick slips in under the inner container a little needle type thing shoots up higher when the water is higher ðĪ x
You're missing sections of the water gauge: the skinny "straw" that bobs plus the clear window that tops the black-and-white tube.

My philodendrons LOVE pon!!
Alocasia do amazing in pon, but i've heared that leca is even better for them. I have them in both substrates :)
Great video!
Which substrate do you prefer? I love pon
How is the plant doing? Iâm literally about to do the same exact thing but Iâm so nervous!!
The water gauge is incomplete! you're missing the red indicator that floats inside and the clear tube that covers it!
Alocasias do well in pon first year. As they mature pon is not the best in my opinion. Let us know in one year how theyâre doing
agreed ðð. the leaves will hold much longer in soil too.

I canât figure it out ðĪ·ââïļ
@@iamclaudiaqthere is a part missing, look up the pot
Any update on how your Jacklyn is doing in pon? Is her still alive?
Iâm growing my alocasia Polly in Leda and theyâre thriving, the baby and the mother plant!
That alocasia looks stunning in that tall pot. Great informative video. X
Thank you so much âšïļ
Add some mycorrhizal bacteria powder to the water on your next plant but you could put some in all your plants reservoir. They would love it
what is the name of the fertilizer you are using along with the pon?
What type of fertilizer do you use ðĪ ð
That gauge is missing itâs top half. I would call wherever you got it from and get a working one.
What do you put in your moss poles for plants in pon?
You really shouldnât soak the stem in water. Howâs the plant doing now?
