Is buffing the surface on the back necessary if they have a smooth back?

yes it helps them stay on even longer if you buff the back of the nail too! Totally optional tho, not completely necessary

Good question! But no you can’t because the LED light won’t penetrate through the nail so it wouldn’t cure the gel underneath

As a nail tech I cringe when people pop stuff off their natural nails. Do not do this! Soak off. Don’t damage your natural nails by prying off the press ons!
