Here's one that will bake your noodle -- someone I know didn't know who Jimmy Buffett was. Another didn't know who Mick Jagger or the Rolling Stones were. I had to explain Billy Joel to another. It's all because they didn't listen to those genres of music.
@@Windjammers1 I had a friend who had no clue Michael Jackson was a singer. She didn't know most singers. Not Tina Turner, no Billy Joel, she didn't even know many country singers like Alan Jackson or Reba...her family was SUPER conservative and religious and as Faith Hill once said, "it's satan's tongue". But in her defense I had no idea who Jars of Clay were. A lot of how we build our musical tastes and knowledge is by exposure and if you're in a place where exposure is repressed, it becomes rather difficult to discover things, even on your own...cuz no one is going to look for what they don't even realize is there to find.

Sounds like "Ritchie meets Enya"...what a wonderful song and vibe. Candice is so classy and her femininity is a gift for the ages. Ritchie has no pretentiousness and although Deep Purple was brilliant, I am glad he got bored with the bluesy stuff but kept the classical inspiration. Also love the guitar (it IS a guitar, right?!) with the mesmerising inlay work and the etched sound hole. Great cut...have only just heard of this fantastic band and am hoping to see her performing on any of the many instruments she plays.

We watched "The Princess Bride" for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I'm telling you, the main theme reminded me SO MUCH of this song. I can't un-entangle the tunes. Every time I think of that theme, I get this in my head. (Which is great, cause it's so beautiful, but it was also strange for a while, because I couldn't remember which song it was).
