As a Lithuanian, I also think that you missunderstood the stares. People are just not used to seeing African/African American people here. Esspecialy in a pretty rural town called Druskininkai. We get a lot of indians and asians in bigger cities and people are only getting used to them. I guess it feels bad to get so many stares but its more like they are completely dont know how to deal with you guys. Like lithuania as white as a chalk. You are more than welcome here. And the hotel situation Im pretty sure she wanted you to get a better deal. Cuz most people are sh*t poor here. Congratz on the win! As for myself living in lithuania when I was still a student Ive met a black guy once and honestly I didint know how to approach him without feeling/being racist.
Tomai juokinga kai rasistai ieško rasizmo mūsų šaly. Čia kaip rusai visur peza apie rusofobija. Elementarus kacapai tik kitos odos....
Totally agree. As a Lithuanian I have never seen a black person IRL. If I did I would sure stare the hell out like it's the only chance I had in my life. It might be. It's a free country here - I can stare wherever I want. If you say that's wrong, or not cool, or you get offended, or keep whining that it hurts your feelings - I say you have serious self esteem issues. Especially if you are a successful black couple, powerlifters or smth, coming from a country that has known racism background to another that doesn't...
Stop making excuses, my son also competed and I was there with him. It's r@cist af there, it was just as they described. The airport officials were even worse, eventho it was one of the worst airfort we've ever been in.. Ya'll need to do better, especially for a poor af country.
@@omo0910 hell yeah we are poor and we sure know it. So I don't get how can one get offened getting a tip where he can find a better value hotel. We have a short summer as well and the outside seats are more valuable - it's hospitality. We might be more xenophobic than others, as we are pretty much solid nationality-wise, and introverts, but it has nothing to do with race.
I agree. I’m African American and was stationed there for a while in the US military. Was stared at a lot but met a local who explained that they just were not used to being around us.
make sure to watch Cranon’s meet day vlog ‼️🔥
She got her comments off but just wanted to say it’s so dope how yall support each other. Body building and powerlifting true power couple fr. Cranon strong ash
It was a vibe so I know this one will be lit.. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
No rap in Lithuania please.
Staring is normal here and in other EU countries. The question should be did someone actively try to bother you. And the hotel part is legit cultural misunderstanding, I guarantee that woman was just giving suggestion about other availble hotels and mentioned that they're not as nice as this one. Nothing to do with "you probably cant afford it", that's legit stupid
Thank you both for this .... People don't understand ... Travelling and Travelling while black are two totally different things ... and experiences .... Glad ya'll made it back safely ... and Salute to the Queen of powerlifting...
Hi. Nice video. But as Lithuanian I must say, I think you misunderstood.
Firs for stares- you seen people in Lithuania. That is just what Lithuanian population is, and Druskininkai is small resort town in comparison. It is rare to see African, or African American people so you are very noticeable, and people stare. It is rude, I agree, but I don't think most of them had anything malicious in mind. Well most at least.
For hotel part- I guarantee that even Lithuanian in this case would get a comment about lower prices of sister hotel.
People dont hate you lol, they just dont see black people often its rarity here, old generation people may haven never seen black person ever in thier lives, thats especially true for someone who lives outside of the city, absolute majority of the country people only saw black person through the TV shows... So of course you gonna get stares quite often... And ofcourse people will wonder what are you doing here, because its a very rare occasion to see a black person passing by this country, because very few black people live and work here full time, most of them work with sports teams, serve military with foreign deployment or maybe working in IT and studying, thats about it...
I completely understand your frustration and disappointment. I’m a black woman from London British born. London is an incredible city a melting pot but, Europe in general isn’t a nice for black people at all!!!! A lot of countries aren’t accommodating to us. Like Eastern Europe we know we don’t travel too because we know we’re not welcomed. So I get you both. ❤
As you both had done keep your head up and never allow silly ignorant people to take your shine. ♥️😊
Stay at your London. All we will say BIG thank you 😘
@@nerijustautvydas4900 What do you mean Neriuk? Thank you for what?
Out of the entire log, my favorite part was Cranon manifesting her win. I absolutely loved that! 🙌
Cranon did AMAZING ❤💪🏾👏🏾🙌🏾! I’m sure hearing your voice during the competition calms her mind. Beautiful couple! #blackexcellence
No, we don't hate anyone. However, you have to understand that in Lithuania, it's really rare to see Black people, which is why they stare. Additionally, the whole country is a bit full of introverts, that's our culture, which is why they don't speak or say anything. But that's not hate.
They not hate you ,they just shocked because you are so rare.
Congratulations im so happy for greatness and to witness it bro that's so big, they hated yall cause they knew why you came...to win!
Lithuanians are generally cold regardless of race, it's cultural similar to Finland. Nothing to do with race.
Yall must be in a small country in Lithuania, i was in Kaunas for the EuroLeague final four last year and it was coo

Welcome to Europa bro
Tbh i have lived in Germany they were more corious than racist because theres not alot of black people.im guessing luthuania could be the same but nevermind..shout out to C she did her thing 🙌👏
Interesting video but y'all got everything wrong. I've been living in Lithuania for 4 years and it's the best place.
Lithuanians aren't used to black people but they are respectful and very tolerant. About the "cheap " sister hotel that's their sales pitch.
Lithuanians don't make alot of money so anything cheaper is always preferred. I love it here tbh
Big Swole in Lithy
Looking swole
That pinapple candy 😂
Shout out to Vilkaviskis! If you know you know haha.
Is it that they’re not used to seeing black people as well?
That’s crazy they told you to sit outside.
I believe it was recomendation to sit outside :D like why would you even want to sit indoors when its sunny outside? :D

Go cranon, go
Man pulling sumo and while competing is trash!
I was wondering the same thing. Why is he doing sumo? And Russ doing regular deadlift!?!
@justinaudenze8744 it depends on how your are built anatomically
Not at all😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice 💪💪💪💪
Man I'm sorry for you guys being misstreated, truly. There's a lot of older people still who are racist in this country, but, slowly, yet definitely surely, that generation is passing.
I like to think that people your age and younger are getting a lot more tolerant.
All that said, I feel your experience might have been quite different in one of the cities in Lithuania, not to excuse anything that happened. People in smaller towns or generally out in the country don't really get any kind of multicultural upbringing, not even to speak of seeing coloured people, so to a lot of them, you guys might have been the first black people they ever saw outside of movies/textbooks/tv.
Once more, I cannot stress enough I am not trying to excuse the staring or wierd looks, they are rude no matter how you put it to the receiving party.
I can't really come up with a parable that would make sense to Americans and not be out of this world, but you guys are like unicorns to some people here. Like idk, seeing a white dude living in Bubisa, Kenya, you know?
I might have trailed off at some point during this comment, once again, I'm sorry for the bad experience, I just wanted to explain some of it. I do not doubt some, if not even many, of those stares were hateful in one way or another, but not all.
In any case, everyone (except russians) are more than welcome to visit, live, work, study and just generally do their thing in Lithuania. All the best, and truly, heartfully, I'm sorry for how they acted. Congratulations on the win.
I was in Lithuania in March…I didn’t feel welcomed
Vacantele Gym SUA
The rest of the world doesn't have the values that America does sadly, especially the Eastern European countries
values?what you call values ?what americans have ,europeans not?its make you nervous ,that some stare to you?imagine, white guy somewhere in Africa...or India.China..and whet they tries to touch, not only stare...you need understand, that you absolutely dont care for most..dont feel being top of the world...:))))))))))
I'll never visit Europe because i know how my attitude is around racists, my husband and I would end up in jail. . I'm used to the ignorance here in Alabama. Sorry you guys had to experience that and congrats to Cranon!
Swole is the first black person I’ve seen that doesn’t like chocolate
I dont care for it
I don’t like chocolate either 🤷🏾♀️
Russ 🦗🦗 Other guys 🥳🎉🍾
We will not miss you.
Bruh tf does that mean
@@blaise7922 He said that he doesn't like being in Lithuania. We Lithuanians will not be sad about him leaving. And we give zero f***s about his opinion towards us and our country.
@@RedVelvetvelv that's exactly why people won't be returning 😂
Cool. It's not like we want them to return 😅 Why would we even want that? 😅
@@RedVelvetvelv so you're not an isolated under developed nation
You’re supposed to stare back until they look away. They stare because they want to cause a scene and prompt others to stare so that you feel uncomfortable and remove yourself. Always refer that it was God who cast satan from heaven. Never be deterred
Are you sure they stare wanting to cause a scene and make you feel uncomfortable, but definitely not of curiosity? You do realize there are no black people in there? Like completely. And they might stare on ones like at a wild animal, because wild animals are much much more common on their streets than the black people.
Wild clickbaiting 🤯
Chocolate 👎🏾
nah yall overreacting ppl just living life and not filming everything
You can’t tell people they are overacting when they are having several experiences. Stop trying to cover up the BS. They said what they said.
He said this was his first time picking up the camera. It’s still people in this world that do not like Black people.
@@LSpearswell if black ppl are rare over there no wonder they be starring at you its like a white person flying to a country with mostly black people ofc they gonna stare at you idk ppl weird who do shit like that
did you hear when I said, I just started recording because of how it’s been. only recorded 3/12 days
@@swolericketts nah only heard u stared back at them
