DUFF!! When did ya start this channel? Doesn't matter, I'm glad I found it!! (and as far as I can tell you started this channel one video ago haha) That's awesome man, you were always one of my favourites (and WAY better than that Buddy guy lol). I even had you guys at Charm City help me with some of my schoolwork back in the day. Can't wait to see more from this channel
Thanks for this and a big YES for pineapple gummies! I may have to rope my husband into being a taste tester for me. He's having tendon repair surgery next month on his ankle and has to work from home for a couple weeks so it'll be a perfect time!
Dude...I love cinnamon bears but you can't find them anymore where I am at. Got the idea in my head to make them myself. Bought the molds, the hot cinnamon oils...everything. they were nasty. The recipes I found were crap. After watching this, I think I want to give it a try again. You explain it so well. And the use of glucose and dextrose...I don't know why I didn't think about that. Thank you.
Lol, that was my first reaction, cool! Till I realized I was wrong. I then wondered how the chemistry of any other 'added ingredients ' would change the outcome, saved it as it plays and just headed to the comments. 😉👍
I was wondering where you were hiding. Glad to see you again. I kinda wish I had a giant red subscribe button that would let me subscribe to my favorite channels. I would have smacked it and screamed, "YES!!!". 😉
The only time I had success making gummies was when I used sorbitol. The recipe I used was Liz’s ( Sugar Geek). I think I’m going to try making this recipe. I also used a 50/50 blend of granulated sugar and citric acid to coat and that helped with the stickiness. Come to think of it, I think I used malic acid which is much more sour than citric acid.
A bit distracting to have you looking and talking to the viewers and suddenly you are directing your comments to who? Changes the video from talking to viewers to watching you talk to some unknown party...and then back to the viewers. Ping pong
DUDE!!! I used to LOVE watching you on Ace of Cakes. So glad to see you’re still working and making awesome foods! Instant like and subscription. ❤️
I LOVE the texture and flavor of Butter Fingers. How exciting and Yummy!
You are so amazing Duff. Thanks for the video.

I've tried forever to make gummies that mimic the real thing. I can't wait to try this.... thank you!!
We need a food network candy show!
Gosh that’s such a great idea!
Nope, we already have what we need, we don’t need a network 😊.
@ well it would be nice if Duff got paid for all his work.
@cat9lives999 He will make just as much from this youtube channel. People don't make content for free on here.

I was just going to make gummies so thank you for showing how.
I've miss you Duff!!❤

And I make the other gummies I guess and let them dry for a bit after pulled from the mold helps with the stickyness

Remember watching you on the food network here in the UK, for that alone you have my subscription.

Thanks Duff. I'll stick with Haribo. I have nowhere near the patience that you do. ❤
Gummies become the consistency that we all like because they are dried. They have to be dehydrated for a day or two after you make them.
Duff my boy your making that look a lot harder than it has to be depending what type of gummies your making!

Have you ever tried Ann Reardon’s recipe? [ *How to Cook that?* ]
I don’t know when I watch the Food Network. I watch cooking shows on TH-cam now. And this channel does happen to pop up on what to watch.
are these gummies shelf stable?
Yes!
I say yes as well due to the citric acid a natural preservative and the high % of sugar
Thanks!
Nice work, keep it up!
What camera are you using for this?
I just bet they taste better than the ones you get in the store and they probably better for you not as many preservatives.
I miss being able to eat candy 😢. Unfortunately I am insulin resistant and over 50. Menopause has not been nice to me.
What about using soy lecithin, does that help with consistency? Also I assume you could add other ‘ingredients’….
My sister uses the sheet gelatin, hers work out
they look gorgeous! but between the pineapple and the cow toenails, i wouldn't touch 'em with a 10' pole! XD
GummiGoo - Nooooo~~~
Gummies? Brownies are easier. 🥴 🤭
They are, but gummies are super fun to make :)
Duff looks like a Seattle lesbian
I don’t know about that, I’ll bet he eats sweet corn the right way and not the long way! Lol
