I’m 45.
Zero regrets not having children.
Did you hear about that 70 year old woman who just had twins in Africa? - Everyone is shocked but she knows her village will raise the children.
I don’t think men should comment on whether woman have kids or not. It’s a completely different experience for women and the risks and/or considerations are more than what a man needs to consider.
He gave his opinion. He was invited to give his opinion. He presented it as his opinion.
@@MEGIDIOT He should have acknowledged that he had no place commenting on it
I'm sure if there were somebody else giving birth for your kid and doing all the child rearing there would have been a lot more women with children
I don't like when people share their experiences and make it sound like their opinion is the only thing that matters or the only way to do something. It would be fine if Naomi shared that she was grateful to be able to become a mother later in life because that is what she wanted. Parenthood isn't for everyone and honestly, the money does play a huge part. There are people who would like to become parents but they cannot due to fertility issues, etc., and if they had a lot of money they could go the surrogate, IVF, adoption route, but that is not a luxury everyone can afford.
Exactly. She may regret having kids later on in life despite having money so shes saying this. But her advice still seems weird. Cant assume every woman is desiring to be a mother regardless of having money or not. On top of that, having childrwn with the wrong partners for the sake of being mothers is not great either.
Social media and media in general is full of people who cannot understand they aren't the main character of the world. So someone saying "I am happy with no kids" feels like an attack on someone who thinks the world exists as a video game to facilitate their own life
Naomi - you have a lot of resources that the regular person does not have. I would hope that if you are broke, a kid is the last thing you should have.
Barenaked man isn't reading the same climate news that I am...
oh please
Definitely, unimpressed with him as well.
@@asimskentzos9231 Have a good day :)
More and more people are comfortable with being alone. A partner, kids all of that may be great things but for these people are an unnecessary burden. It seems insane to the other side because their values are completely different.
Finally a good segment 😊🙏🏼
I respect Naomi. But just because her mom had her in poverty does not mean other people will or should choose the same.
If you’re happy you had kids, great. That doesn’t make it the right choice for someone else though, so let’s stop telling people what they should or shouldn’t do with their own bodies/lives.
Omg not the ‘young grandparent’ comment. So annoying 🙄😵💫
"I really wanted to be a young dad, in part because I wanted to be a young grandfather."
Lol. Pretty presumptuous thinking, believing that your children will want to be parents as soon as you wanted it for yourself. Or even at all.
