I'm itself a post graduate mechanical engineer...sabse best yahi h k graduate ho C's me aur phir 2 saal job karo phir bahar se MS Kar lo ...set ho jaoge 5 saal me itna Paisa earn Kar loge Jo core branches wale 20 me karenge

And for the internships that u get in PS2, what is the selection criteria. i mean is it same as that of PS1 based on CGPA or some interviews are also conducted for them. And on an average how much is the stipend in PS2 ?
no interviews are taken , BITS has maintained good relations with its industry partners and even companies like amazon participate in ps2 and hire students without a single test/interview. talking about stipend in this upcoming semester average stipend is around 42-45k per month ( even branches like B.Pharma combined )
PS is different from internships and its optional. ps happens in 2nd year and last year. on campus summer internship happens in 3rd year and it has the above companies u mentioned.
Who all are ur roommates over there ( means are they of bits goa ece or others) Is learning coding mandatory for even ECE students? Which Language are u learning?
It’s not mandatory but coding is something everyone has now as one of the skill set and why not learn it when it opens up more opportunities for you and at the end of 4th year you will realise how you make money doesn’t matter but making money does so yes you will learn eventually as this what the market demands as of now

You can do that in 3rd year. You can't replace PS1 in 2nd year unless you wanna do thesis.
