The descent from Cota 2000 to Sinaia in the Bucegi Mountains is a wonderful experience for nature and hiking enthusiasts. The trail is easy and can be completed in about 2 hours.
Starting from Cota 2000, you can visit the former Miorița Cabin, located a short distance from the cable car station that departs from Sinaia. Unfortunately, this beautiful location is now in ruins.
Continuing the descent, you will encounter the former Vârful cu Dor Cabin, now just a ruin left after a devastating fire. The trail splits into a summer path and a winter path, both following the same marking.
To reach Cota 2000, you can take the cable car from Cota 1400, with different rates for adults and children. The trail is accessible year-round, and it is recommended to have appropriate equipment.
The descent from Cota 2000 to Sinaia is a pleasant and relaxing experience, giving you the opportunity to admire the natural beauty of the Bucegi Mountains.
