Excellent ✨ Combining both generations can only be a winner to everyone.. How to videos as good as this one is will come in handy to many people out there who like to work on their cars. I am not in need to replace any tail lights at the moment what you have shown us will stay recorded in my brain as a future ref! From anything like how to fit a short shifter to how replace the (extremely difficult to do) spark plugs I am a sucker for any decent video about work on these amazing cars. Right now I wish I could find a video about how to replace the (standard for something like a Tarett) front anti-roll bar on a 981 - the rear one is easy but the front one is much more difficult ... Thanks!
@@JetFuelOnly Sounds good, I noticed a few PPF / wrap places will remove it to tuck the film some more. Always wondered how it was done (only found tutorials online with minimal pictures)
Great video man ! I recently got a GT4 as well after watching your video. Could you make a video on removing the hatch trim ? (The bit that is on the rear glass)
Oh man gonna be honest. I was trying to find a rattle once and looked at it. There are some rectangular cutouts that are supposed to press in or come out but didn’t feel comfortable doing it. Wasn’t the rattle source anyway.
@@JetFuelOnly it took me days to find the source of the rattling from the rear. I thought it was the hatch trim but it wasn’t. I put some velcro (soft side) tape under both rear storage compartment where the lid closes and meets the trim. Noticed that the lid would rattle against the trim. I also put some velcro on the middle hatch ‘stopper’ and adjusted the hatch feet slightly. All the noise is finally gone !

Will you have a tutorial on rear quarter glass removal?
No not likely. I don’t have a reason to remove it myself but if I find some info I’ll provide it

I’ve learned that a good wrap person doesn’t need to remove most parts to do a good job. I learned that the hard way
