I agree about your statement comparing the 6,7 or 8 for price but not the 4. I have a 4 with the same engine in it and I get the same speed, fuel burn, CHT numbers and efficiency as you do for around the same price. Good luck with your sale.
Thanks for your comment. Great performing RV4! Does it have an O-360? Have you made modifications to get more speed? I didn’t realize an RV-4 could go that fast. Wish the cozy could land slow and on grass like an RV.
@@brianeisner492 Nice! Thanks for the info. Always wanted to try an RV. I had a Prince prop on my Q1 Quickie. He makes great props. Lonnie Prince is originally from my home town of Newark, OH
@@MikeToomey I talk to him a few times. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Seems like a really nice guy. I think you would really like the RV-4; it’s a total performer and a beautiful handling airplane which I’m sure the Cozy is the same way.
I’ve owned 4 long ezs, I loved all of them. Cozy has the same performance with more room for passengers and baggage. Also much better for sharing rides with full controls from both front seats.
I haven't seen all of this video but what is the asking price? I would spy it if some would tell me the price of this plane and hoe would I get a hold of the owner. Please let me know.
Price and contact info is at the end of the video, but already have a buyer. Sale scheduled for 11/3/22. Sorry. Title of video will be changed to “Sold” when transaction is completed.
Sale transaction scheduled to close this week. The price and specs are at the end of the video. Sorry, my editing skills are lacking, so best to pause the video in the last few seconds to see the price.
Hi Dale, I was just at LPR 2 weeks ago picking up my friend Long Ez . Do you know Terry that had the Ez in the community hangar? I’m at KVTA Newark-Heath, OH
I’m 5’8” and 210. Very comfortable solo or with passenger in back. It’s “cozy” with 2 big guys in the front seats. The strake extensions added elbow room, which helps. Useful load is 600lbs.
@@jackt6112 yes, but you’re not likely to need or want full tanks (52 gallons)unless flying nonstop for 8 hours. Central Ohio to central Florida nonstop on 1/2 tanks and only 4 hours.
What a beauty. Congratulations on the sale, and congratulations to the new owner.
What did it sell for? Why did you sell it? Great plane.
From close up it looks good, I like the color.
Thanks
Nice ride!
Beautiful looking airplane - and that lovely grey exhaust......
Nice looking plane.
Irresistible -- If I only had a place to put it -- I'd be there tomorrow
Beautiful plane
You have done some nice upgrades on the plane since I last saw it.
Thanks!
@@MikeToomey PS I am the guy you beat out by a few minutes when you bought the plane in Florida. Couldn't make RR this year.
@@kenr1767 Hope to see you at Rough River next year. Stay patient and you’ll find a great deal too!
If only I could sell my Mooney fast enough to buy it!
hello! i am in search for an Mooney.... stil for sale ?

@@MikeToomey no it’s a Lycoming O320 E2D with 150 horsepower. No modifications. Has a Prince P-Tip carbon fibre prop on it also.

Esta muy Bonito,, Great performance 120Kts @4 Gl/hr, is Awesome.
I have a long and would like a cozy one day. This is a very nice plane.
If it doesn’t sell could you let me know ? What’s the asking price ?
Can never understand why some fly from the wrong side? Can’t adapt?
Are you (Elbert Leander "Burt" Rutan)?
Can you land one of these on a grass strip?
sir, if for some unforeseen reason the sale doesn’t complete, I would like the opportunity to purchase it
I’ll add you to the list. Thanks
It’s a beautiful airplane
Fantastic 🤠✨👍
I see you already have a potential sale, but is the plane IFR capable?
No, VFR only.

do you need a Complex endorsement for that?
No.
@@MikeToomey What he said. GA license your good.
Beautiful Plane. What's your opinion on flying it off of 2600' of grass?
Would never try that. 2600’ of asphalt, maybe. Never tried landing on grass. The cozy uses lots of runway, and even more when the runway is soft.
gorgeous. I am in Cleveland. KLPR. What airport are you based at?

Was that Lumpys airplane?
Nope. If your asking about Tim Lump, his is a cozy 4-
@@MikeToomey Thanks, I have not seen him in years.
I wish I knew how to fly and had money!
Me too.
What’s the useful load? How big of a guy are you? I’ve heard the cozy’s don’t work well for broad or tall fellows
