I was placed at Flipkart, got a PPO offer, then an admit to ISB for MBA. GPA was >9, any more info, you can look at my Linked-In profile.

Are the exams in vit tough or as some students say that you can study a night before and manage to score well ?
They are easy if planned and studied well in advance, one nighters will most probably get you through but you won’t be able to score well
And how much cgpa we have to maintain ,so that we will be eligible for all super dream and dream companies?

Brother how's the WiFi speed in hostel ? Is it enough for playing online multiplayer games like valorant, CS:Go, Pubg Pc ??
If not can we use Jio or Airtel hotspot over there ?
Yeah the wifi speed is decent and depends on which block you take, it is sufficient to play games tho anyways you can also keep a Jio hotspot if you need

I have heard that boys and girls are not allowed to interact with each other, like you can't hang out or talk for a long time like about 10-20 min. Is it true?
you are not allowed to do Public Display of Affection, but no such rule of hanging out, i spent whole days with my female friends.

hey i got a good rank in viteee planning to join but kaafi log khe rhe hain bhot rules hain its very strict and u cant even say hi to a girl ki id card lele te hain and pda pls confirm girla dn boy ke beech bhot restrictions hain kiya pls confirm
You can very comfortably talk to anyone/ opposite gender inside the campus, no such things are a problem. There are strict rules for PDA but no problem in talking to and meeting up with the opposite gender.
Can you please tell about the fees for btech biotechnology in vit because many people say that its really expensive ?

There will not be many internship offers in the 3rd year, maybe a few since you are from CSE! Try applying outside this year, in your final year you will have many great companies for placements
yaa but highest package for amrita was 56L whereas vit was 44L
but again depends on what your future goals are, whether job, ms or entrepreneuship
vit has better hackathon opportunities I guess.
As much as Ik VIT is more reputed, I haven't even heard of Amrita and am very sure it's national recognition is not as good as VIT, but do ask someone from Amrita as well!
bro who cares about highest package its the median package that matters. the median for vit cse was 6.5 lakhs per annum while that of amritha was just 4lakh per annum and the source is nirf data 2020
@@satyausingh123 Bro in this case it is true but in general Vit is not that good a brand... Most good colleges in India other than nits iits n iiits which have a good reputation has a median package about 10lpa .Eg bits has 14, nsut 10,dtu 9.8, vit has about 7. Even top comedk colleges like rvce has 8.5,bmsce has 7.4.....So I don't think Vit is that good at national level. But surely it is not very bad as most colleges have median under 5 lpa like srm, kiit etc
Note:All the data related to packages are taken from NIRF 2021.
@@Krishna-xk2ne Suppose in a college, 20 students out of 100 are getting placed, hence their avg packages are supposed to be high. But, in a college where 80 students are getting placed out of 100, median package can be expected to be low. Moreover, the median package includes all branches, but I guess if you look at median package of CSE, IT or ECE, it will be quite higher.

Yes you do get your time to work on your projects be it a startup or something else, i personally worked on my startup in college.

It is not different in terms of classes and teachers so thats that!

You will need to maintain a minimum percentage of attendance that’s all and also not have any disciplinary actions taken on you
Bro, I took ece in vit vellore.I'm joining this year.we are financially not good so we are thinking of taking loan..it may cost 20 lakhs for both hostel and tuition fee...... Is that worthy?
Don’t do this, it can go in any way, a 20 lakhs loan for 4 years is way too much of Interest that you will have to pay back.

Hello! My branch was Mechanical Engineering, now IT or ECE depends on you in terms of solely placements IT is a bit better but don’t just plan it based on placements, try to see what you are passionate about, all the best!

It is pretty good, would recommend joining VIT and performing good there than NITs except some top ones

No it’s not if you give your best in the coming four years, in terms of opportunities you have a lot to extract from VIT Vellore
Packages are really good and there are some very good companies paying very handsomely to the students

Yes there are many droppers in VIT, yes ECE is a good branch keep a good GPA and involved yourself in extracurriculars and you will have a good future!!

There are in times to hostel, leave application processes & stuff but these are not very restrictive it is justified and mostly you can have fun with them as well

Actually VITEEE is relative and your rank depends on the people who are giving the exam near you so tbh you cant predict your rank to your marks

The start up culture is great at Vit you can easily start your own company, I am sure the research opportunities also would be great but not as much as IITs as they have a lot more fund availability but that being said VIT will also give u a chance to work on high impact research work, all the very best for this amazing journey!

Being very honest the placements aren’t great, there are some great opportunities but they are limited, now coming towards students you’ll find a mix of them ranging from good in studies to good in some other skills

I had to ask that one of my student has secured a rank of 4062 in VITEEE, will he be able to get CSE in Vellore in Category 1 ? What should be his second choice , IT in cat 1 or CSE with Specialization in cat 1 ...? Please help me out ..

The packages range from 4 to 45 lpa I don’t have a figure for exact count but opportunities are in good number for handsomely paid CSE jobs

No this is not true man, in college you will have work load and rules irrespective of the college you are going to, but at VIT it is not as bad as people make it sound.

No idea, No idea, the environment is not at all conservative, just make the right friends and you will have a great time; no it is equally hard for both; living in vellore is fun as it is a small city so you bond up with your friends really well, you will find all the good eateries very close to college!

How is mechanical in vellore in terms of placement and teaching
It is not as good as CSE but not too bad either, some teachers are great some arent and for placements you need to have a good overall profile, I myself am a mechanical engineer and secured a job at flipkart!!

Category 5 fees band students would struggle to compete academically with top Category 1 fees band students who are too smart to get super dream offers. Lazy Cats have no place with lion cubs otherwise loose money and time in a drastic manner.

This is not true, VIT has strict rules at times but they are not that harsh and you can have a pretty great time and enjoy your time in college

It was worth it for me and many of my friends, it totally depends on what you want to do, generally always worth it!

Haha, you could get a 50 LPA or you could be unplaced, a good 9+ CGPA will help in getting you a great package but it independently necessarily doesn’t offer a probability of a certain “Type” of placement
