You making this video has basically been my working from home experience for the past 8 months. I feel that pain man. Keep being a good dad. All this is hard on little fellas too, great job keeping him supported! Oh yeah the video was super useful too. You've transferred me from tft to Eve echoes 🤣 thanks for the content.
Thanks for the great video! I was super excited about getting my caracal trainer but was not able to complete any t5 encounters. Fitting is almost the same as yours, though I'm still using the mk3 small versions of the lower slot equipments I brought over from the destroyer trainer I was using. Knowing you can warp in at a distance you're setting after seeing your video turned it all around for me. Just finished two t5 encounters without running lower than 50% capacitor. So thanks again for the great explanations! Cheers mate
I prefer to choose a station, align to it, and then adjust my speed in order to maintain optimal range, while heading towards that station. You're still doing a sort of kiting this way. And as ships chase you, or you them, the loot generally drops in a line, so when it comes time to loot, you approach the farthest wreck, and all of the other ones are basically a long the way, with no path deviation required to clean up.
Trank you very much for this Video. As a new player i have to say that the EVE Echos is leaving you quite clueless at the end of the introduction. Also i have to admit that i did raid the pirate base since i had no idea about the game mechanics. My second big thank you is for explaining me how to set orbit ranges and „warp in“ ranges. Up to this video i basicly warpen in and manualy „fled“ in the opposite direction. Your video was a game changer for me.
Eve Echoes is..well, an "echo" of Eve Online. Which is itself a VERY SOCIAL GAME. The players produce most of the experience, and drive the narrative of the market, sovereignty, etc. This is NOT a game where you can ignore other players and get much out of your time in New Eden. Can you play solo, and just do PvE, and industrial stuff? Absolutely. But the heart of the experience is collaborating with peers to accomplish greater goals, and pick bigger fights. Explore. Much of what you need to learn, and much of your access to high tier equipment will come from establishing relationships with other players, seeking mentors, and working alongside folk with similar goals.
Love the Caracal ships. Mine uses Challenger Medium Missiles and I also use a T7 Shield Hardener, T7 Shield Invulnerability Field, and a T7 Shield Booster. I also find the Missile Fuel rig is helpful to give your Missiles a longer range. Currently, I am able to do T6-6 Encounters and now I am in a T8 Story mission going up against T8 Tornadoes and T8 Talwar C ships which will Disrupt me but my Web and Nos lock them down to where they die quickly. Not thrilled with Rapids in a T8. Too risky getting so close.
How does this setup do against T8 Story Missions? I am slowly fighting through one, but I also have a Moa I might bring in to try it. What do you think?
Hey Excoundrel Gaming, is it worth it to get a caracal trainer or should I save up for the full caracal? I see you have the trainer but my Corp mates say it’s not worth it.
@@Excoundrel hello excoundrel I am a long time subscriber and always have enjoyed your videos. I was wondering which corp/alliance you and the scoundrels are a part of? I ask because I am the XO of Industry based ship building corporation and we are in need of a home. The group of corps we are in is turning out to be a bunch of children. We desperately want to be a part of something larger and mature. If you could help point us in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
Great video! This is very helpful and easy to understand. So my concern/question about this kind of ship and strategy is being so far away, that your loot can get stolen. And also, I suppose this can also be applied to running the news missions and how do those compare to anomaly running?
I just finished all the encounters need to complete the Advanced tutorials. Now just need to wait till I am level T6 for the last free skill chip. Time to build my Caracal trainer. Good timing on your part ;/
Tried using normal medium missiles but it took too long to kill T5 anomalies. Rapid clears them in a much effective manner. Am I missing any skills or rigs? Thanks.
so i never see your videos have warp stabalizers? can the encounters jam you at all? today i got jammed not sure by what alot of warning lights and sounds were going off i got out of there just in time to save the ship I did have a warp stabalizer that i had to press for the -2.
How exactly to maintain that distance? I try to orbit, and they just close to within 10K every time. I have even tried a 60K approach as a setup, and withing 30 seconds they are on top of me. Help.
I believe you can't be bothered by other players while doing encounter battles. If you try to warp to such a location while somebody is doing the battle, you get a "Failed to lock warp destination due to gravitational fluctuation" error message.
I saw a video where a dude use a talwar with small missiles but he got into the rate's (tier 5) faces and orbited a cruiser within 1 km and used a nosferatu on it while he damaged the other ships. Is that type of play still possible in live??
@@aitoluxd I did, it still says the same thing. Can I sell stuff from my personal assets to the current station? or does it sell that items in where it's currently located
The thing is I did all of this and it's good.. But I can do the exact same thing in a T3 kestrel with missiles as well. It deals 540 damage every hit.. So the kestrel is actually as good as the caracal and gets hit much lesser.. So confused

This helped me optimize my caracal, I was actually struggling with a bit with rank5 encounters, this made them a little bit easier to fly.
Good for you. Want a medal?
@Kaushik Kurudi depends medium missile sucks vs frigates, so yeah talwar it's easier😂I just buy caracal and I regret it, back to talwar xd

Does a higher explosion radius have an advantage against larger ships or is it just strictly worse?
It's just strictly worse but larger ships won't escape the blast as easily

I have a t4 destroyer right now.. namely a corvax, what should I do to get a caracal and to get tech level 5 and above.. mostly soloing right now

Yes I would

if you u se ur energy nosferatu does it cancel ur orbiting and gets u close to enemy ?

How do I set my default orbit????
I cannot figure out how to set the default so I have to set my orbit every time I target someone.
Tap ur ship and hold the orbit option
What if we r alpha?
Can i use railgun (moa) with this strategy ?
at this stage of the game u used rapid misile not that misili till lvl 6 tech at least.
Did you get omega to rank upto lvl 5?
Ya
Do a tier 7 video with battlecruisers involved

I cant any changa in my ship shield stats when i activate an invul field...is this a bug
Vexor tips?
just change setting in auto orbit for set not optimal :D
Anyone else find that setting a default orbit doesn't seem work work? My ship just heads straight in to orbit much closer anyway.
turn off auto orbit in settings
I prefer approach at 35km which keeps me at distsnce
