For me, either way, this song rocks, but did he really write this in response to the Sheena Easton challenge? Seems the super funky idea was already roasting.

i remember as a teen going 2 the record store and the lady that worked in there knew how much i loved prince she would put all the stuff that would come in behind the counter 4 me and the day i got this 12 inch oh my i was blown away. she would always tell me call me after u give it a few listens and tell me what u think . she really enjoyed my takes on prince i was like 16 and this lil ole white lady was like in her late 60s
The estate probably saves stuff back for further archival releases. I'm sure there will be updates to the various "deluxe" editions. For instance, there's already been a Purple Rain "deluxe" version but there's rumours that there may be an update/re-release of it next year with extra material added.
