you are lacing it wrong. you don't tie them. you put the laces through strap along the heel. thumbs up so yall can see.
I'm hooping in timbs right now, NYC lifestyle. Court feel on a 1000 and traction is A1
I think you're supposed to put those lace things under the cables on the heels in the back so they don't flop, I may be wrong tho.
Also might help with heel slippage.

Imo I think the Kobe 8 and 9 em lows are the best in the Kobe line.

I have owned the kobe 5,6, and 9. I undoubtedly love the concept. When I bought these I thought I had made an expensive mistake, because of the suffocating fit. After hooping in them for two hours: best shoe I have ever played in. I have had them two months now, and I still feel joy when I put these on. More than any hoop shoe, I forget they are on my feet, ballers know what I mean, when your feet do exactly what you want them to. These are sweet.

You're supposed to tuck the laces under the thread that's almost by the heel...that way they don't flop. That's how the Nike website shows them.
the best? definitely the 9s :D but is kobe ad nxt worth the price? my kobe 9 broke and in need of a replacement, and it is super hard to find another pair of 9... so i'm hoping the nxt can replace them

It is true that you're not more likely to roll your ankle in a low top but it is important to understand that what a high top will do is make the injury less severe and thus making your recovery time from the injury shorter

The "laces" are meant to be tucked under the cable near the heel counter. They do a surprisingly good job of holding the "laces" there even while playing so there is no noticeable flopping around.
The elastic around the heel is there for you to tuck the laces into.. they come with instructions lol
Buckets looked to be the only one hustling and dropping buckets 😂 Dope review I ball in lebron 9 lows or mids I prefer the low cut good shoe with great traction and comfort. Can't wait to see what's to come NXT🙌

There are some straps near the back of the sneaker that you tuck the lace aglets under, rather than tying them together

You're suppose to put the laces on the back on shoe. That's why there is laces back there, for u to get them out of the way. Did that make sense?

I absolutely love the zoom soldier 10. after a ton of break in time they're super comfortable!
I'm currently playing in the Kobe 11 elite enjoy the cushion and traction. Wish they were a tad bit wider but good shoe overall

My current rotation: Jordan 2010, Hyperrev 2014, Kobe 11 Elites and Lillard 2s... I mostly hoop in the full length zoom models (Jordan 2010 & Hyperrev 2014) cause i'm old as dirt and my knees/shins need cushion. :o)

I agree with a design flaw. They should of made a clip on the side of the shoes to lock the cord laces like on snowboarding boots. Just makes sense so you wouldn't have them flopping around which is awkward and annoying
they did. if u look thers cables on the heel where u can thread into .. thers also looks in the midsole where you can tuck the laces in. Nike shows it on the WEBSITE if people just looked.............

I'm still hooping in my Kobe 9s and the traction is still 💯 but I am looking to buy some Crazy Explosive lows. And I agree that Kobes have been disappointing that's why I stuck with the 9 cause I've only wore Kobe's.

I liked them at first glance considering that I've never actually owned a Kobe sneaker. Right now I'm hooping in the PG 1's which I love and this was going to be my #2 after trying on the Kyrie and being disappointed about the lack of support in the midsole. What I'm not a fan of is the price point 200 schillings!?!? Hard pass. Copped the Lebrons and filled my gas tank.

With those laces, you're supposed to out them under the elastic band on the heel. Depends if it bothers you or not

jordan xx9 (still one of the best ever)
kobe 9 elite (with lebron 11 drop-in full length zoom midsole)
Philip Cheng 30 vs 31?
31 has a very comfortable upper and the 30 requires some break in time. 31 also has a better heel to toe transition. However, the 30's traction is out of this world and the 31s are horrible. This is why westbrook is wearing the 31s with the 30s outsole.
Oh, the main attraction of 31s is the full length zoom, it feels GREAT. The 30s has unlocked forefoot zoom, which i personally like better.
how good are they outside? do they wear down easily?

I hoop in Kobe 11 Elite with full length zoom unit. And I still hoop in Kyrie 1s, best traction, for me. And third, PG 1s. Not bad. Those r my hooping rotation. "NXT"
