Thanks for this video man, I've been struggling with this game FPS for a long time. Process Lasso really helped me to even out the frames, now I'm pushing 150+ fps on Epic Settings.
Lasso helped a lot. Less stutter and it is now pushing my GPU usage 90-ish% compare to before it goes down to 40% usage if in town or many players around. This also helps issue with CPU bottleneck.
A simple fix for lag and stuttering is to disable FSR2 or DLSS in the game. For AMD Adrenalin Graphics, disable all settings. This worked for me; while on epic settings, there was no lag at all.
Dude, it is insane how much this video helped me! I was just about to buy a new gaming PC because I though my Lenovo Legion 5 Laptop (with a GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU) would reach its limits with T&L. I had a lot of framedrops and overall the feeling and the look of the game really sucked for me. But your tipps (especially Nvidia settings and Lasso) were the absolut gamechanger for me - literally! :D It looks so damn sexy now, runs smooth af and I even could put my overall grafic settings higher than I had them before, without loosing any fps. Makes even more fun to play the game now and saved me from buying a 2k+ € gaming pc.... at least for the moment :D Thanks a lot and keep it up!
Man, I have Legion 5 pro with GeForce RTX 3070, and I cant do more than 40-50 fps in the city, and more than 30 in mass pvp( 100+ only in dungeon. WHat did I do wrong?
Yes Frame Generation is a good thing in some scenarios... but you have to mention the huge input delay you have when it really kicks in. it is noticable and it will for sure have a good amout of impact on your gameplay in a negativ way
yes thats true... I should have mentioned that... but seriously when you dont have a god like PC you have to use frame generation to have good FPS in large scale PVP fights :D
@@grobs4678 I mean if you don't have a good pc then you're gonna lose either way Frame Gen cause you lag so you'll do moves late and low frames just let you see what's happening. On top of that Frame Gen is worse when a lot of things are happening which a large part of the game
My Processlasso or Game is not using the Always Settings , even after Game restart and starting the program as Admin. When i check the "Current" settings, its still the old with SMT & Normal Priority, also when in "Always" SMT is disabled and Priority High
yo great video! i have just one doubt for process lasso, in the video u have activate "ultimate performance" but u said to activate "max performance overlay". Since u wasnt sure of the name but there actually both i dont know which one u meant to activate. Btw i "ulltimate performance" should be the one but im asking just to make sure. thanks for the video

I had it a a couple of times when I played too much with the settings but then also only in the combination with DLSS in "ultra Performance" . But after restart everything was fine again and also stayed fine.
I have the same setting in Nvidia Panel Control, but just for TL, not global. Sutap Lasso, but it didnt work. The problem is that I can only do "reccomended settings" ingame. If I try to change smth, FPS droppes to 10-15. I have legion 5 pro with RTX 3070 and 32 gm ram. In mass pvp FPS below 20((
@@grobs4678 well duh games with anti cheat wont let you change these. you can change the "Always " function like you do in your video, but that doesn't actually change anything, I don't think. this worked in kr because no anticheat, and the frame gen mod worked too. Not all anticheats lets you do this, for example bdo's new anti cheat does let you do this. Also, enable Balanced:Max performance overlay also just turned off frame gen on my AMD card, it says game can't use frame gen when I've been using for weeks. Putting it back on highest performance fixed it.
Steam's anti-cheat prevents a direct change, but you can change the settings for steam.exe (Steam Client). As soon as you start the game, TL will take over most of the settings from the Steam Client. Except CPU priority
I have a intel 12th generation i5 -12500 but my cpu usage always reaches 80-100% while my gpu usage is really low. is my cpu not good enough or is there an issue with my cpu it doesnt overheat or anything.
No there are no negative effects. So for process lasso for example: you have currently so many different CPUs and all of them are working differently how they utilize their cores. So the games nowadays cant be optimized anymore to utilize every CPU in the best way. Thats why its important to utilize programs like process lasso to optimize the utilization of all those different cores. If you are unsure about those solutions better inform yourself but especially with newer CPUs you will see huge improvements.

hmmm I cant really answer you that question because I havent tested a lot of different hardware on this game. But it also completely depends on what content you want to play. For sieges you will need atleast a decent pc

Idk what im supposed to do.. i have 3060 12gb, 32gb DDR4, AMD Ryzen 5 5500 and getting 50-65fps in towns or dung etc.. friend have same pc but worse card like 1650 and he is getting more fps more like 100-110 :( Tried everything from the video but nothing changed with fps. No, not in the Korean version. If you need a solution now, you can use "Nvidia Geforce Experience" or "AMD Adrenalin" depending on your graphics card. I think this is the easiest way. If you want a solution for the global release, you can just use steam to show your fps :)
No xmp or resizeable bar in my bios 😅 spent a while searching around on how to even get into bios and so on Guess a pc/ laptop from 2018 might not have it although google said xmp came arpund in 2007
dlss makes everything so blurry when you move, makes the game unplayable for me, i disabled it and tweaked the engine ini and removed all the forced taa now the game is so crisp, fuck taa

nah this game optimization suck. No matter what you do with setting, it gonna still be suck unless you got great gpu(4000+series). The funny thing is with using 3060Ti, when set on high setting is fine(90-140fps dungeon run), but when i change to low setting...it suck really hard @_@ idk what happen. The pc is fine when play BDO remaster or lost ark. Even bdo optimization is insanely beautiful or siege optimization really2 cool.
like you are not supposed to play on high settings with a 3060ti :S at least for large scale...I played with a 3060ti also before and it is for sure doable but you have to turn everything down in large scale. For other content I had to play on medium-high settings to really never drop a frame.

why cant i set the CPU priority to high? I mean I can set it but it doesnt change the actual CPU priority. it still shows Normal instead of high.

For some reason shadows on medium or low runs worse than high. I get 30-40 fps with my shadows on low and 80+ with them on high.
Steam or EAC anti-cheat prevents Process Lasso from changing I/O priority and disabling virtual cores. Can this be fixed?

@@grobs4678you can’t change any of that stuff bc of eas. You have to disable hyper threading in the bios. Even turn off your e cores in on Intel

To put TL in high you need to edit registry, check google, there's a steam post explaining it.
Process lasso always should be on? Or when you do this settings they forever with us even we dont run this program?
You can also run Process Lasso only when you start the TL, but usually you will have it running all the time.

No there are no negative effects. So for process lasso for example: you have currently so many different CPUs and all of them are working differently how they utilize their cores. Use a high end cpu for your motherboard this game also req a demanding cpu. A 3D cpu for example would be great for this game

with so much going on screen you need a fgood cpui..a fast gpu will only be held back by a slow cpu..you will loose a lot of fps with slow cpu
