I’m a retired ICU RN( charge nurse) and sometimes a relief supervisor here in Southern CaliI work night shift 12 hr. shift 3x a week. I worked pin ICU for 35 yrs. until I retired. My husband also a Registered RT( NICU).We have the same schedule and we both work noc shift.. We just take off on 1 day in our schedule. We have 7 days off in a row and we can go anywhere. While we’re still working we go for our vacation so by the time we retire we’ve been to almost 35 countries mostly in Europe and we took 12 cruises and 1 river cruise in Europe fir 2 weeks. We really enjoyed so much. So when we retire mostly we just cruise not a lot of walking. We’re so thankful that we did that because now that I’ m 67 and my husband it’s hard to walk. We’re enjoying our retirement. While you’re still young I advise the nurses to work because when you reach 50’s it’s the time that you have medical problems esp. arthritis. So work while your young and able. Goodlluck to all the nursesWe have a noble job !
You're doing a great job first with the pay info and second being a new RN. by choosing the type or area of nursing that you really love to do and that is HD, and I work with nurses like you in the ICU .I have been an ICU/ER nurse for the past two plus decades, but was a travel nurse in different States such as Cali, Washington DC, Texas, etc. Pay varies in different States, but consider the standard of living and taxes as well. .Travel pays your housing and your meals. During COVID, they paid the highest. Specialty areas and critical care also pays more. Good Luck, colleague. always remember the three challenges in nursing which are 1.) mental - knowledge to prevent error/problems; 2.) physical - patient safety and your safety and 3.) psychological or emotional,- don't stress out and get burnout, Most of all , just continue to give the best quality care and empathy to all your patients.
Walang trabaho na madali. Kailangan mo ng patience at determination. That's the reason for migrating to other countries for a better future. I worked in US for 20 years as a Physical Therapist, retired/changed career, started investing in stocks and profit is very rewarding. Ang trabaho ay personal choice but we should not limit ourselves on our ability to learn/ earn more income, spend less time at work and become financially independent. Right now I'm enjoying my vacation to the Middle East and European countries 4 times a year.

Specialty ang dialysis kaya mataas ang sahod mo. Bedside is lesser maybe by $2 cause its not a specialization. Its general nursing.
ganda ng content mo ma'm at higit sa lahat npakaganda mo.
Thank you po, God bless. 😍
Hi Dar, ask ko lang, can you give me more detailed example kung magkano kinakaltas sa tax sa NY? for example sa sweldo na 3500, magkano natitira dun after all deductions and taxes? just want to have an idea. thank you.
Hello. Depende po meron kasi silang computation hindi pare parehas. Depende sa sweldo mo. Mas malaki sweldo, mas nalani ikakaltas ng tax. I don't know pano po nila nacocompute. Sorry. But thank you po 😍
@@darlishytv ok thank you.
