I've been putting that off for so long lol. It's a hard topic because I feel like I have to be wearing the dresses or have someone else wearing them who feels comfortable being filmed and have them change a bunch - lots of effort and batteries needed! Hah!
I prefer HGD Stephanie of Luxembourg's dress over Claire's. Stephanie's gown was stunning, with a 14 foot train. Her gown was also by Elie Saab. I feel like Claire actually kind of copied Stephanie's dress, right down to choosing the same designer. Just my opinion.
The fact that Diana was unable to show her tiara until after she was married, while Kate and Megan did is something there doesn't seem to be much information on . The lace Eilie Saab was very 2013 as lace dresses were Uber popular that year. Kate and Megan's are my favorites in different ways, but they don't have beading on their dresses per English royal protocol - only lace or embroidery. Long trains are also protocol as the churches have long aisles and the guests would be staring at the runner for a good 5min. when she's passed and is still making her way up to the front. For viewpoint, not just for grandeur they need this visual extension. Princess Beatrice and Victoria of Sweden are Bride's gowns I would have also love to have seen included - interestingly Sweden seems to have maintained its tradition of evening receptions allowing the guests to wear evening gowns and jewelry even to the ceremony.
Diana wore her tiara with her veil, she had so much else going on with that dress that you may not have noticed it. Traditionally women don’t wear tiaras until they are married.
Diana wore one her family's heirloom tiaras as her wedding tiara. Reportedly, she was going to be loaned the Queen Mary's Lovers Knot as her wedding tiara but decided to go with tradition and wear her family's.
The dress Megan wore was pretty but it just did not fit her well at all! It looks like it was never fitted to her body, maybe that was the look she was going for? All of the dresses are stunning though!
It could have been - I have to imagine she had access to one of the best seamstresses. Perhaps she thought if it was fitted more moulded to her body it would appear too "sexy" and thus not in keeping with royal standards (even though it would likely have suited her body a little nicer in some of our opinions) - just my thoughts.
Does Meghan pay you? She looked bad on her wedding day, like she overslept, and didn't have time to do her hair or makeup and like she slept in her dress. And she did inspire a trend. I have not seen on dress remotely like hers. She is NOT a fashion trendsetter at all. She's a what not to wear icon.
Princess Beatrice looked gorgeous in her Grandmother’s dress.
I adore the dress!
Beautiful dress
Love princess Madeleine dress ❤
love this video. It's always good to get inspiration where you might not think of finding it
So true!
My favorites were 2, 3, 6. I’m drawn to the Chantilly lace.
Great choices!
Can you do a video on wedding accessories? For example what kinds of earrings go best with which dress?

Edit: Princess Eugenie's dress I would have liked to have seen.
