I was shocked when I saw Huge Laurie on The Graham Norton Show and he was speaking with a British accent. We never missed a show of House. Huge Laurie is a very versed actor.
Dr hope has such a sweet heart. Every one of his videos are so sweet. Qhen he was vlogging during xovid it broke my heart to hear how it was behind the scenes at hospitals.

It was over the doctor reacts to medical shows series. Dr. Hope started it and it was successful, so Doctor Mike followed suit because it was an integral time for him building his channel. Dr. Hope asked for Mike to credit him in the reaction idea series and I think Mike blocked him. I’m glad it’s over though.

@@cannsmith Dr. Mike talked about it on the podcast they referenced at the beginning of the video, but he did it on a recommendation from one of his coworkers with his business they were trying to start. Once the video blew up, he got hate mail from a lot of other youtubers and/or people about it thinking that he copied other youtubers (like Dr. Hope) when he really just made a video that hit the algorithm. Mike didn't "steal" anything of anyone's since there's really only so many ways to become big in TH-cam, and they just happened to be two significant youtubers in the same space doing the same thing and no one copied anything. Dr. Hope also said during that podcast that he had made the video about Dr. Mike taking ideas from his videos to stop whatever "beef" was going on, but it just served to the opposite of what he had intended.
I dunno man, I've met a lot of people who live without brains. Also, I love how Mike had "Gwyneth Paltrow" instantly, like he's been thinking about this answer for years already 💀

When I broke my olecranon, it did not hurt at all. It only hurt two hours later when I had one person holding my forearm and another person holding my shoulder and they snapped it back into place
I think I would have put Huge Laurie a bit higher then half only because not only has he read many scripts on house his dad was also a physician and probably grew up hearing and learning about a lot of medical related things.

3:15 "Bowel stuff is really bad." - Yeah you have that right! Proctalgia Fugax is EXTREMELY painful! I once FAINTED from the pain!!! My specialist prescribed Salbutamol puffer and it works relatively fast compared to riding out the attack.
2:15 I had a fractured hand, and surprisingly enough it wasn't the worst pain I ever had (that goes to a head injury I had when I was a kid). More of a dull ache because the endorphins were probably going nuts. What did happen after I got it treated and the K-wires were removed, I couldn't shake hands for like 5 years, a firm handshake was extremely painful.
Hugh Laurie went to Cambridge to study anthropology, is the son of a doctor, was best friends with Stephen Fry for decades, and is damn smart. They did him dirty 😢
3:14 as someone with Crohn's disease who has spent 6 weeks in hospital, bowel pain and the accompanying complications (ie abscesses) are far more painful than people realise. So thankful for the NHS.
The worst pain is severe burns. I suffered 12 different gallstone attacks before finally having my gallbladder removed (and only then because the final attack was causing pancreatitis, which is what sent me to the ER). I also, at a different point, suffered 3rd degree burns to just under 15% of body surface. The pain of the gallstones, while indeed horrible, wasn't even *comparable* to the pain of the burns. People say you're supposed to feel third degree burns *less* because of the damage to nerve endings. That what you're feeling is just the 2nd degree burns to the surrounding tissue. They're wrong. I'd suffered 2nd degree burns before, that was *not* the same level of pain. The pain of 3rd degree burns was indescribable. It was unimaginably awful. And it just went on, and on. *Burns* are the worst pain.

As far as the most painful thing imaginable, I gotta say bowels. I had a testicle that swelled to the size of a lemon and I walked to the hospital. Because of my medical stuff I have fecal impaction and it's literally so hard sometimes I have to use tools to "pinch it off". And when that stuff makes a 90* turn on my large intestine, it puts me on my knees. I have to remember to breathe. So yeah. Hangover pain level 3. Testicular torsion pain 5. Lemon-size testicle pain 8. Fecal impaction pain 10.

A fun thing about kidney stones : my mom lost her left kidney because a massive stone -literally the size of the organ- killed it over time. It took years, seeing the size of the thing, definitely didn't happen overnight. But she never felt anything. No pain, no discomfort, nothing. She only learnt about it because of a PET scan that revealed a nearly interrupted kidney activity and well, yeah, further exams revealed that's why. 😶 But every single doctors, and even people who did have kidney stones, can't understand why she never felt it because it normally is very painful and that's how you can act upon it.
If I have an everyday problem, I would go with Dr. Mike because he's comparatively nearby and I've known about his doctoring longer, so there's more trust there; however, if I had a stage VII carcinoma accompanied by antibiotic resistant TB and multiple organ system failure, making puns would be the only Hope left.

As someone with irritable bowel syndrome, I agree totally. The colon is very large and when it’s mad, it makes your entire body hurt badly!
