(The on and off thing went from like 12-14). They fr said that they 'didn't deserve him' and 'he was too good for them.' NO TF HE WAS NOT.
They used to claim they were gonna wait until they were 18 and get married and run away together or some shit. Eventually they gave up on the dating thing but they're still friends with him and it disgusts me.
Edit: For clarification, that friend has SA trauma and is attracted to older men cause of it. They've had a crush on a lot of men older than them, including my older brother. The issue here is that the older guys indulge their fantasies and purposefully use their their trauma against them.

I dated a 33 yo when I was 20 and literally understand what she went thru. I felt like I was more mature than my peers and was intrigued by his age. I fell into a sub/dom relationship with him and all the times he’d call me little one, etc never clicked of how gross it was till after looking back. You start to blame yourself because you went into it willingly but it’s crazy what manipulation can do to a young person. :/

I dated a 30 yo when i turned 19 and at first he seemed pretty creeped out at the idea, but then he started buying me stuff, taking me everywhere i couldn't afford even the cheapest thing. I felt so special because someone of that age was interested in me with so many options out there. Today i can see the power dynamics, how i changed my personality to fit into his life and not "make a fool" of myself, i tried to be a 30 yo and fulfill his desires, even the ones i was weirded out or didn't like at all. At that time no one ever told me he was taking advantage of me, but all the time i heard i was weird for dating an older man.

They manipulated me to do so many things that i regret very much.
