Giygas is easily the most fucked/scary boss ever to appear in a kids game
Giygas is terrifying on a meta level. Imagine having a game creator basically using a nightmare image of a part of a movie he mis-remembered as a template for a final boss. Maybe it was therapy for him, but he's now successfully transferred his nightmare onto thousands, if not millions of people.

Giygas will forever be my favorite boss in Nintendo history, the buildup to him throughout the whole game is incredible, the fact that throughout the entire game you’re constantly progressing forward to new areas, but when you reach the Cave Of The Past, you truly have reached your final destination, your basically lifeless shells of you former selves and have no way to turn back, and then you get to kick Porkys shit in, and Giygas is so strong against you that you have to abuse his triggers against human love by praying for your life to beat him. What a game

Everyone sleeping on the massive revelation that Kirby's species and the Dark Matter that has been the main antagonists of the entire series are one in the same. By killing Void Termina, he basically destroyed the soul of one of his own kind, or possibly even himself from another timeline.

- Giygas is 100% the scariest boss in this video.
- I'd say Baby Bowser's fight is scary when you're younger and not skilled enough to stop him from steamrolling you to the ground... but it's far less scary than that scrapped design!

I feel like if Giygas would made today it wouldn't be as scary. There is something about the fact that he was done on 16-bit hardware and whatnot that makes him scarier. Adding stuff like a clear chin or eyes makes him look more human. When the simplicity of his appearance makes him all the more terrifying.

When I first played Earthbound ages ago I couldn't sleep near a TV once I beat it for almost 3 years because I was scared good ol' Giygas would appear on the screen. I'm much much older now but I still have low-key anxiety whenever I replay Earthbound.

あとある事をしないとまでギークは倒せないのでそれに気づかないとジリジリと追い詰められる焦燥感を味わいます
あと一番怖いのは背景と音のせいでファミコンが壊れてしまったと勘違いする事ですね（VCならこの心配ないですが）
