- this is the neca ultimate dracula Bela Lugosi black and white universal monsters action figure.......and wow its good
I was blown away with the first colour dracula figure and the black and white version has not disappointed me one bit. its great that they made some changes so its not quite the same figure and the colour head can be put on this figure.
I am so looking forward to the rest of this set the creature from the black lagoon looks amazing and the bride is a definite have to have and hopefully aliexpress get them soon

Even though there’s a little bit of difference with the colour version. I think this version looks cooler. Great that you can mix and match with the other release.
I have to say its a difficult choice between them but the b&w is winning a bit at the moment. Once I have warmed his head I am going to do a swap over !

He's as good if not better than the colour Dracula. I'll certainly be

This dracula feels a bit more "elegant" with the gloves cain and top hot definitely a dead man about town ! I really can't pick between the two there both so good !! As always thank you for watching 👍

Having got all the other B&W's in the line, this one is a definite must. The only one I want in colour is the Creature as it's the most accurate representation of the actual costume that I've seen and will serve as a 3D reference for all the kits I've got. Of all the Bela sculpts, I like the sinister smile the best. It's great that this is different from the colour one, but, I don't like the other colour ones in the line as much and I want to keep them consistent.
I'm getting both types because I could pick between the two ! I am really looking forward to the creature from the black lagoon figure it looks fantastic !! I did a video about my sideshow creature and my model kit last week. The creature was always one of my favorite kits to paint for people but I always wanted to paint a black and white one
@@Returnoftherocketman I have the Horizon Creature. Took me ages to pin down colours, but, I saw those Life magazine pics and matched colours from those. NECA based theirs on those pics, it's the most accurate I've seen. I did also get the colour Mummy, and that was because the accessory set was so good.
Its such a shame that movie is black and white because the creature is such a cool design and has such colour and detail to it

I got this figure last night, my mom bought it for me at a Target store it’s actually an amazing figure but I haven’t like unboxed it completely and I have the box hanging on a wall with the figure and the accessories inside.
Some people unbox figures some leave them boxed and there all great ways to display your figures
I stuck my bat with my mythic legions vampires. This looks so good

I plan to needle a piece of fishing line through cape then around his wrist ends so he is able to hold his arms out to the sides with cape. Think that will be an awesome look. Just a real shame neca did not include something on the Cape so it's possible to do that. Similar to what super 7 done on mumra cape.Wrist straps style.Still a super awesome figure and really nice to see they changed this version in many ways, extras and all. Again real shame neca did not have this idea sooner regarding the others. Those all being exactly the same but just black and white.
That sounds like a great idea !! I think there are some promo pics of Lugosi doing that kind of pose. I have been trying to think what difference they could have done between the color and black and white Wolfman and Frankenstein creature they don't really have costume changes like Dracula ??
@@Returnoftherocketman just different head sculpts would have been a nice little change. 2 different head sculpts with each including the head that is on them.That usually being the standard facial expression head. A small tree for wolfman to hide behind would have been a nice extra so ya can pose him pearing around it. Would make a great display with him like that i think.
The sideshow figures had bases for the figures so something like that would be nice like you say a tree for the Wolfman would be good
B**** 10 out of 10. I put the color blank Expression on the black-and-white and the color hands where hes using his mind control to pose. Love that they're interchangeable. When you put the cane in his hand that song putting on the reds came in my mind.😂
I think neca did a great job with this and the other dracula definitely the best figures ever of him 👍 that's also a great song its stuck in my head now 🤣
Do you have an idea where you see that London street view in the movie exactly? there doesn't seem to be anything like that as far as I can see...
If you mean the picture on the back card it's not in the movie its just similar to the London sets
@@Returnoftherocketman yes that one, I noticed it's not in the movie, must be a random London street as you mentioned, I expected something more iconic like in the color version but I guess I can live with it
The one advantage that the color one has is the candle stand accessory. Do you think the candle stand will make much of a difference? I still can't decide if I should get the black and white one or the color one.
I really like them both but the color one has more accessories so wins a bit more for me. It is a very difficult decision
Am pleased with the Dracula doll, but feel that it was foolish of Neca to use photos of Bela Lugosi as its basis, mainly because l've never believed Bela was stupid enough to sign away the rights to his image. That's actually a pocket watch that he's wearing, the tuxedo was introduced by Hamilton Deane so he could both play Dracula and join the audience during intermission.
It has the Lugosi brand on the bottom of the box so his estate has given permission to use his likeness. Looking at it and thinking about it after filming your right it would be a pocket watch there
I think it’s supposed to be a monocle dangling on the chain.
