    Daikin wiring - ohh boy, just why do they have to make it so complex. Heating heat pump manufacturers for me all day long. I will save this video for this unfortunate day I have to work on Daikin again. Keep up the vids.

      Cool. Probably an alternative to the Aquarea from Panasonic.
      Did you install a buffer tank, or only the floor heating system?

    • @danielmoura3879

      @@michaelnapo4221 yes a 50 L buffer Tank, i only use this Daikin for the floor heating, for the Warm water i use another Daikin Pump! In this Moment im heating with the Daikin Split heatpump, its Work very good!Are you German?

      Yes, I am. :-)
      As this Video is in english, I found it polize to write also in english.
      Ok. But in comparison to the amount of water in the floor heating system, the 50L buffer should be negligible?!
      Why did you choose the Daikin an not e.g. a Aquarea from Panasonic, as they are quite cheaper?

    Great video. Being an NICEIC approved installer looking to install these units please keep them coming as this helps us decide if this is an area to want to work in. One item you have missed off the consumer unit is surge protection this in now a mandatory requirement.

      Hi Simon
      Many thanks, yes we have many more videos planned.
      Oh yes we have forgotten the surge protection, we will definitely included that in our kit to installers.
      If you want any advice on heat pumps please feel free to get in touch. 😀

    Great video I think that Daikin need to look into having terminals for secondary heating pumps if they require you to have a buffer so you can still use there own controls. Using a on/off thermostat like a hive I have found to be much less efficient as there is no hysteris and causes the heat pump to switch on/off way to often. I have now switched to pure weather compensating the heat pump and seems a lot better once you get the curve set right.

    HMI = Human machine interface. Unbelievable that it's still called a MMI by Daikin in the UK. Emilie is the best HVAC presenter I have ever seen anywhere. Good work! Thanks.

    I’ve a Honeywell home system of smart TRVs that act as independent zone valves if one opens calling for heat, power is output to my existing gas boiler. Octopus Energy will in the near future be installing one of your heat pumps. What I’d be interested to know is will my Honeywell smart TRVs work with your heat-pump

    Hello. I have a question concerning Wiring the control panel.
    If I take of the part with the screen there is a green bar with 4 connection points on the left. If I look at this green bar where is the point to fix pin 15 and 16 coming from the outdoor unit.

    Hi Emilie, great video! World be great if you helped me with an issue on my 3m..... my electrician pulled only 1 cable 5×4mm2, and only 1 30 Amp FI. There is no 2nd supply for the Backup theatre..... can this be right?

    • @ecobubl
      @ecobubl  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Michael
      That doesn't sound correct, you need to install each power supply individually, so 2 or 3 supplies (compressor, back up heater and Booster heater/immersion supply)

    I wanted to connect my relay to control the heating, but I have 230V on the pin 35 and 0V on the pin 30.
    Do you have the same values ?

    • @ecobubl
      @ecobubl  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, until you send a neutral feed back from 30 to 35, it will give you 230 volts, it’s the same as a light bulb 💡 if you take away the neutral you will have 230 volts on the neutral connection.
      So In short this has to be voltage free, so link terminal 30 & 35 together.
      If you put 230 volt into terminal 35, it will blow the board.

    Hello to All.
    Since 3 weeks I operate a Daikin altherma 3 M and use the basic Set up for for floor heating System. Because I have a house that is not very well insulated I need 33 degree flow temperatur and return is 30 degree. The flow rate is 22 l/min. The average outside temperature is 7 degree.
    Right now i am quite disappointed about the cop as well as the daily performance. The daily performance is only 4.0
    The power consumption while is 0.9 kw only.
    I do not know why the machine has a really bad daly performance. I hope that someone could give me an advice.
