Kevin thank you, this video was fantastic. I've recently started diving into fiverrr and am very happy with the results for 3d characters. I'd be happy to privately email you with my approach to working with the fiverrr artists. Of course, we have different needs, but I'm happy to share the workflow that has been helping me. My game is also in early prototype, but my thought process is that if I'm extra busy with my regular day job this time of year, then my game is still making strides by getting help from external folks.
cool that you've included AI this time. Yes, the tools aren't really good yet, but it won't be long now. I think we'll see a very powerful tool this year. Things are moving faster🚀
Well, I am surprised they didnt use AI after you showed the result, I guess it good that they work on there skill by their own effort. And you have a good starting point for future artists.
Really i find your videos and tutorials cool and its realy help me to progress i have a question do you think AI chatgpt a nice tool to help in visual scripting blueprints ? I hope also one day do some tutorials for multiplayer UE
I never considered pronouncing Fiverr as in 'Giver', it was always auto (and heard always as) Five-err as in UK Slang for Five pounds. But Fiverr as in Giverr does make sense. Do we have another Gif/Jiff issue? 🤔
I can't really comment on scam. I sort of look at it the same way as finding and hiring people in general whereby you have to spend the time and even then sometimes there was something you missed in the hiring process
If I had just said "no", with no data and no backing, I'm not sure that would have been given people the info to make up their own minds. You could also look at it as I saved you days of doing the same if your take away was no. Thanks for watching!
@@bobojenkins5805 "cheeky" something about that made me laugh. Maybe cuz I dont see as much appreciation for cheeky anymore, people going straight past cheeky to tilted.
Do you suppose that any of the artists earned more than minimum wage (in their local economy) for their time? ..also consider the additional expenses needed? I give you respect for advocating the tip. You appeared to be searching for a majestic mythical beast in a pool of people that are either ignorant of their worth or in desperate need, and have resorted to sneaky marketing tactics. Unless these guys on fiverr are raking in money from falsely advertising their services and using gpt to chat with you. In which case you may have indeed found Unicorns! ha! You did offer that using new tools* in the pipeline might go some way to improving the value to effort ratio for preproduction or draft art.
There really is no way for me to know, but I have the general impression that a lot of them do better than minimum wage. In the past as I've built relationships with artists and I learn more about their situation I was able to intuit that better. Another way to look at this is just like an interview or paid test. It is often very hard to determine someones craft from a reel or interview and I think thats what tests help weed out (but that's a whole other can of worms and slippery slope). Thanks for watching and dropping comments
I can't trust Fiverr after the amount of scams I have seen running on their site and discord both. People who pretend to be an artist but with a stolen portfolio. When you see one of those portfolios, it's very easy to tell it's fake and a scam, but hearing how you said, "It felt like a different person made these," sounds like you ran to the same kind of thing with the 3D stuff.

It seems like everything is moving fast. Thx for checking out the vid and taking time to drop comments

They were all independently run so there would be no way to see end results etc. Thanks for watching!

AI assists in scripting and programming is super powerful and helpful in my experience so far

OMG....I pronounce everything wrong and didn't even consider "five" er. Gif/Jiff, just no, not on account of me! Thanks for watching!
Nice video. I have wondered about using Fiverr for cartoon artists and little bits here and there. I am apprehensive about getting scammed though.

Nice video
Thanks for checking it out and droppin comments
This video didnt need a part one for the answer to be obviously no much less a part two

@livinfreestyle6727 it'd be pretty cheeky to make a 5 second video just saying no, wouldn't it!

I've had some success with Fiverr, but it is a lot like screening candidates for a full position and takes a bunch of time
Have I been pronouncing Fiverr wrong all this time? Isn't it five-er? Like 5$? A five-er?
I think I’ve been pronouncing wrong. I had no idea and in my mind it was like “give”. So giver. But I think “five” like fiver makes more sense
@@livinfreestyle6727 Huh! Thats an interesting point of view too. :D Anyway, love your content. Thank you for you effort!
