I was just curious why this school seems to use the older style Randal May carriers on their drums? As the whole group walks by you can also see some of the less experienced looking kids wearing the newer style hardware. It just seems odd and I was wondering if anyone who'd been in the group could explain
Some of our instructors in the late 80s (I think) taught at USC too and brought us some of the cadences (ie Latin Blood at the beginning)
I understand that "Mother's Cookies" was another brought from USC. Arcadia '79) and USC alum Alan Reinecke instructed percussion at AHS.
the snare on the far right ♥_♥ i saw him on saturday and almost died. FIRE.
You should see the original from USC and it's even longer.
They are gunning for Ayala I would loved to see them duke it out
Givonni Delpit Ayala has a better drum line for sure. Arcadia is still amazing tho.

The world set of drums and carriers has always been kept together and also had older backbars making it difficult to use the newer type of carrier
