Hello Philipp, thanks for your helpful videos. Is there any way to bond outlook emails (conversation) to outside db such as access or excel for tracking the status of that conversation in my ms access?

Thank you. Do you know if it's possible to set up a rule for incoming emails that come from "on behalf of ...."? There's seems to be no work around for such setting except identifying each member of the distribution list separately, which is not feasible.

Good question. I think it is possible. Try to check for "specific words in the sender's address" or "... in the message header" using the on behalf of email address.

@@codekabinettcomen tried "specific words in the sender's email" several times - can't get the rule to work. "Message header" won't work for me, because the title changes constantly

@@ptichka1371 The message header is not the subject but all headers of the message. Check for "Sender: email@address.xyz" in the message header.
Here's more info on the message header: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email#Message_header

I need emails I sent to a particular person to skip the sent folder and go to their designated client folder. When I make the rule and apply it, it never ends up working.....is there a trick?

What happens when you get a reply? will the reponse be in this separate folder or your normal inbox?

These rules affect only sent emails. You can create separate rules for incoming emails. There are lots of videos on that topic.

If only one could do this for server-based rules (hosted and 365 do not offer this possibility)
