The song, the choreo...and the bird hat go HARD! I couldn't get over your sisters horror at Key's feathers! The boy likes to experiment with fashion....I have given up on expecting SM MV's to be anything over than a set. I think they reason they made the backdrop so minimalistic on this one might be because it was a comeback from hiatus they wanted to have a lot of closeups and really focus more on the members, and the choreo as well, since it is sharp as HELL. The train timetable in the IU MV is just her discography during her 20s only, and I don't know if it's been confirmed or anything but there's a strong argument to be made that the different scenes represent certain parts of her career through that decade (the fight scene being the Zeze "controversy since it ends with the dried peaches).
That's how I always feel about IU's music... especially her MVs I watch them always hoping that I'll like them but I usually don't.. (but I love her!) I get hypnotized by her still though! I did love Eight actually! It was a really good song!

Yes, Lilac is not my type of song. I love My Sea and Empty cup more, and starting to appreciate Coin (the second title track) but again, it's IU.
