It's a fusion of kpop n Bossa Nova, like a slower paced samba. Twice step out of the typical relaxing, chill, summer, latin kpop music, refreshing for a change. Its not very common in kpop. LOVE TWICE BEST GIRL, BEST ATTITUDE!
Twice had already try Bossa Nova genre on Jaljayo Good Night and Latin-influences genre like Firework already but since those are b-sides, people didn’t notice it. So glad of TWICE for giving us this type of title track to showcase how versatile they are once again~

I agree about the editing of Lay into the group dance at the end. It could have been worse...and I am glad that they made the effort to include him in one of the group parts. But I am also glad they didn't attempt it for all of them, because it isn't something that can be seamlessly done (as everyone was able to see), due to Lay filming in China on different equipment with a different crew. The song and MV are great and a real gift for us fans, but the BEST gift, is the rest of the album. Hope you both get a chance to listen to it even if you don't react to it. I love how much Kim and Coco love all the SM artists! Thank you for noticing how much Sehun has improved! His singing and rapping have really come a long way! He has been taking vocal lessons recently and you can so see that on this album. Lay is included on all tracks as well, which makes the album that much better!
When thinking about the fish, in regards to TXT's MV, I remembered the saying "to be a fish upon the sky". It basically refers to striving for something which is impossible. Fish obviously don't reside in the sky, and so to look for a fish in the sky means that you are looking for something that doesn't exist or cannot be obtained. Now, I don't know if this is at all what they were going for, but it oddly makes sense to me :)

Everglow's First, other than the song itself and choreography, I actually like the camera on the MV, because it was very interesting and unique, especially the transitions. As for the outfits, I agree with you, it was difficult to see the movements much, but the girls did great overall
Yeah I don't know. The whole mv was a performance video pretty much, and video editors and camera people I've watched react to it we're really mind blown at how good the camerawork is. Based on what she said she wanted more of after the video, it's hard to think of any mvs that do more of what she said than this one. It seemed like odd criticism to me, but she did only see it once.

Idk why many Kpop stans don’t like many experimental songs. Like many of the stans just expect to have BANG!! chorus with lots of edm or other instruments. Kpop is evolving with music and musicality, it’s not changing but evolving by experimenting with new genre of musics. people who got disappointed with alcohol free were just expecting to have a beat drop in chorus with heavy instrumental, but it went other direction with rather a simple and melodic chorus which is unusual in many Kpop song.

One of my favourite parts about these videos is that, since Kim is the one reacting, Coco just dances and lip syncs and has fun. It makes me laugh every time and I dance along too! I also really love Kim's opinions and comments too. Seriously, you guys bring me so much joy.
