Shipping building materials from another continet, thousands of kms away is non sustainable to a greater extent. The Carbon from the transport and embodied carbon from the materials is highly unsustainable. It doesnt help the country as well since local material suppliers, local labour as well should benefit. But definately NOT SUSTAINABLE!!!!!!
