U r wrong abt speed petrol. It is costly bcz octane levels are high. And it is suited for high end cars nd high end bike who's engine are made to use that type of fuel
It is highly not recommended to use speed petrol on royal Enfield bcz engine is not made to utilize that type of fuel and will result in more bad than good
Yes. The high octane means it would need a higher compression ratio of 10 or above for complete combustion. Bullets dont have that. So the fuel gets ignited at a much more lower compression which leads to improper combustion.
The additives are used to lower the combustion level in Speed petrol. There is nothing called as pure or impure petrol. As Royal Enfield' rate of combustion is low speed petrol shall never be used.

High Octane petrol is meant for cars and bikes with high power and compression ratios within the engine, so that it doesn't simultaneously combust under the immense pressure of compression of engine. It has nothing to do with mantaince of engine.

I just bought a signal 2 (BS4) months ago. I was instructed to use normal petrol by the agency.
Why would they suggest normal if speed petrol is better
Because their is alot of mixture in speed petrol nowdays

I have some vision problem at night and use spect...So when I went to NH2 last week, I was in trouble at night, had to reduce the speed @60-70kmph..
Please suggest if any scope exist..I saw even you also use spect..

You can use as per your company's recommendations . Mentioned on the bikes manual
