Work profile involves dealing with public. Sometimes its really very difficult to understand what the other person is speaking😢

कई कारण हो सकते हैं, middle ear का infection, viral infection, कुछ दवाइयाँ (मलेरिया, TB), congenital etc. आपको ENT doctor को दिखा के proper checkup and treatment कराना चाहिए।

Single ear deafness is not eligible for disability certificate. You can have trial of CROS device for unilateral severe to profound hearing loss. Its detail is available in TH-cam shorts in our channel.

No clear cut guidelines are available in gazette regarding type of hearing loss. In my opinion irreversible or permanent type of hearing loss should be considered while calculating disability percentage. You should consult with an ENT specialist at Government District hospital near you for more details.

Pure tone average at 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz should be above 60dB in both ears to be eligible for 40% disability. In case of doubt ENT specialist can ask you for BERA test also for cross checking.
@@phyfit sir pure tone average in right ear is 63.5 db and left ear is 76.25 db then is there any problem that I may face due to 50db and 55db loss at 500hz and 1000 hz in right ear. My bera test shows that I have upto 60 db NR no response in right ear and 80 db NR no response in left ear. And mention as moderately severe hearing loss in right ear and severe hearing loss in left ear. Sir I want to know whether this 50db , 55 db point will create hindrance in issuing the certificate or not. Sir please tell??

Now they told for BERA test. What is the role of BERA test, If BERA test is pass and it is saw that I'm properly audible then can I eligible for pwd certificate? @@trickymind2170 BERA is a reliable and objective test for hearing. The term objective signifies that the patient does not have to subjectively respond to the sound stimuli and convey whether the patient is hearing the sound or not which is required in pure tone audiometry.

BERA will show what is real. It can detect malingering also what person generally does in audiometry for making disability certificates.

Pure tone average at 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz should be above 60dB in both ears to be eligible for 40% disability. In case of doubt ENT specialist can ask you for BERA test also for cross checking.
@@phyfit sir pure tone average in right ear is 63.5 db and left ear is 76.25 db then is there any problem that I may face due to 50db and 55db loss at 500hz and 1000 hz in right ear.
My bera test shows that I have upto 60 db NR no response in right ear and 80 db NR no response in left ear.
And mention as moderately severe hearing loss in right ear and severe hearing loss in left ear. Sir I want to know whether this 50db , 55 db point will create hindrance in issuing the certificate or not. Sir please tell??

BERA will show what is real. It can detect malingering also what person generally does in audiometry for making disability certificates.
