      Indian Army should focus on indigenous howitzer or artilery gun rather than other foreign company. Thus to encourage indigenous product rather than foreign companies.

      More imagining a future FCAS along with a future AMCA - Jun 2023 Belgium joined FCAS as an observer that will not change the current contracts signed between France, Germany, and Spain but rather will allow stakeholders to “imagine” how Belgian industry might eventually contribute to the FCAS program sometime in the future.

    Pinaka Ramjet integration is very good news. This will not only bolster our artillery but also make it a more attractive option for foreign buyers who are looking for long range rocket systems.

    GCAP of Italy, Japan and UK and the FCAS program of Euro nations is best deal INDIA 🇮🇳 could get. Joining such program where a 5.5 or 6th gen jet being built in collaboration. This also allows to reduce workload on single country to manufacture critical components and due to involvement of many brains the output could be even better ❤

    • @Reality-Prevails
      @Reality-Prevails วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Reverse the logic - actually partner Countries want most or all workload to create most high paying jobs for their taxpayers known as workshare commensurate with the huge investment their taxpayers must make in these programs that usually results in long delays or program failure - like EuroFighter long delayed over workshare disagreements that France left to make Rafale...

    • @Reality-Prevails
      @Reality-Prevails วันที่ผ่านมา +2

       @mixbagworks Yep - France and Germany already fought a very ugly public years long workshare battle over Who was going to do What and Where as they both try to save their aerospace industries - and most importantly high paying taxpayer Jobs that vote for those that fight for their Jobs......

      @@Reality-Prevails Yess I agree that the start wont be that easy and lots of discussion and proposals but these issues can be resolved and in long run the fighter jet we might get will be worth the Hussle.
      Why I am saying this is we lack engine tech and that's one thing putting us behind many countries in developing next gen jet, so collaboration is best choice as anyway we'll be working in partnership to develop engine with either safran or rolls royce or maybe GE.

      Get some knowledge about geopolitics & how the global financial systems work.
      Then you will understand why are GE engines stuck midway ; why will they NOT transfer any critical technology to India even if they sign the deal & why will they try to sabotage the fleet when we need it the most ( like how UK did with Jaguar during Kargil conflict in 1999) ?

    - India quickly needs to do 72 + 72 MRFA to safran & Saab with realistic localisation at 60% as other projects require funds too like Hypersonic project or Naval arsenal. Both MROs will provide great operability with shorter delivery time by 2036. This will also ensure Safran has funds to do F5 upgrade + setup 110kN engine facility in India by 2030. India as an observer in FCAS is a good avenue bcoz EU didn't even build storm shadow by single member..to cut costs UK + France built it. They will take some time to invest with TRUMP till 2028.

Already, drones are stressing conventional naval assets in specific sea theaters like Red Sea, Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea etc. Open ocean seems like the last frontier but autonomous navigation under mission control parameters could change things.

    ATHOS has no chance. ATAGS contract negotiations started with Bharat forge and Tata. For ultra light weight we have M777, For tracked gun we have 100 Vajra and another 100 is in the making. For mounted towed gun, Bharat forge has a product.
    We need to bridge the weight gap between ATAGS and M777. Dhanush fits here. But it is not modern. So DRDO will give the blue print of Dhanush obtained from Bofors order to Bharat forge and Tata and get light weight guns.
    Changes of import is very low to nothing.
