2020 540i, without a doubt the best cars I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. The pops and bangs from the stock motor are to die for, love the executive feeling of the interior too.
The spinning propeller part part of the logo is actually a happy accident. The white/blue colors are based on the flag of Bavaria and BMW had only made planes for just over a year 1917-1918. BMW used the logo in a 1929 ad that picked up on the propeller idea, but that was 12 years after the logo was made.
I work in a mcdonalds in a minor suburb of a minor European city and I need to start counting the amount of BMWs that come through the drive thru. Such a popular car I cant believe it.
Love my e90 328xi. It's not lambo fast but it gets me to where I'm going reliably and it does have a decent amount of power. It's beautiful and sounds amazing. I love it! It is my first bimmer but it will NOT be my last by any means!
I don't care what others say I think BMW are the greatest car company. If you disagree drive one and it owns you forever. And when your out of one you want back in.
A nice vid, kind of disappointed at how the mid 70s cars were skipped as cars like the E-12 (especially the 535i) really paved the way for the later M cars. Also sad no mention of the Bavarias.
i have been driving BMW's since 1982 my first and second cars were E12 520 i had my own machine shop reconditioning car engines and my first rebiuld of the 2 litre 4 cyl BMW the motor was still going when i sold the car with 440,000 kilometres on it 2 sidedraught 40DCOE Webber carbies a hand made exhaust and bored and stroked to 2225CC running total seal 2nd ring match ported it pulled 7,200rpm in every gear which gave it a top speed of 225kph i also rebult the gearbox and used to tow my whoe loff road racing trailer weighing in at 2.2ton way over BMW to wrating the only thing that went wrong with that car was after 440,000k's the chassis broke i di dthough ask way to much of it i was extremely happy with it i have also owned 318, E39 535i V8, E36 528i m-tech 530i E60 also a 550i E60 m-tech my present car but my dream car of the 760Li i may never realize unless i win the lottery lol but hey a man can dream can he not, i love these cars for comfort and handling and total safety
Can an M3 engine fit in an E36?l would love to drive an M3 without having to buy one!l mean if the engine can fit in my E36 without costing me an arm and a leg Kindly advise.

@@MrM3bob Hi mate, no not on FB. Great to hear she is still going strong. I guess I really did sell her to the right chap. Have you had any major issues with it over the years?
The man at the end says they have a totally consistent Teutonic reliable image. 😢I don't believe that is any longer a true statement. Maybe for some, but not nearly as many as when this documentary was made.
BMW used to be outstanding vehicles. I have had a 7 5 series and 2 7 Series. I feel they have lost their way as of late. Poor designs and they are suffering from poor reliability.
USDM BMWs are not really great cars, so many expensive issues mostly electrical problems. A classic maybe better than any late model. Unless you can afford it
Nothing but love for this brand.
100%
I'm a proud new owner of a 2011 Z4 Sdrive 30i and I absolutely love it!

The E39 chassis is legendary.

Very informative. I just purchased my first 5 series and love the quality, performance and overall aesthetics of the car.
It's unreliable.
^ignore, if it’s 535 or above then it’s built to be abused. If it’s below that then it’s not putting out enough power to worry.
I love the 70s,80s&90s cars from BMW
I own a E39 its not an M car but i love it just the same.
My love for BMW grew deeper
I work in a mcdonalds in a minor suburb of a minor European city and I need to start counting the amount of BMWs that come through the drive thru. Such a popular car I cant believe it.
I have a 1 series in white, I love it.
Best cars in the world, period. I had three and have one now. Drive them hard and they will love you. Trust me.
Best car period, but best car in the world??😂😂... Dude nothing can beat the Legendary three pointed SilverA Arrow ⬆️
I love the M3 conversation part. That car is sick. Very good documentary

You should have gotten a 340i or a 335i the 4 banger is nothin compared to the inline 6
Slap a single turbo on

My aim is to become one of the employee of BMW. I'll come back here after my dream comes true.
The BMW logo is actually the black ring from rapp motor works and the bavarian flag inversed
The e36 is one the best looking cars to me my father had a red coupe man I will always love that car

BMW badge is not a propeller image. Not according to the BMW museum in Germany.
What is it then?

That period is an inconvenient truth to them, so they pretend it never happened.
