I’m sorry but I don’t sell seeds at this time. But I bet you can find seeds pretty easily if you live in a region where Japanese Maples grow well. Maybe at a botanical garden, arboretum, or just around your neighborhood. Good luck!👍
Thanks! I’m sorry but I don’t sell seeds at this time. There are A LOT of factors that affect Japanese Maple seed germination so the seeds you bought may not necessarily have been bad. But here are some rules of thumb - keep the seeds from drying out but don’t let mold grow on them - wet occasionally but give free air circulation, or in refrigerator if your zone needs that - but the fridge is very dry so don’t let the seeds dry out; plant them early in the season - before the weather starts warming up; don’t plant the seeds deeply - just a very thin layer of peat moss or bark fines on top, keep moist. I’ve had my best success leaving the seeds on the ground all winter then collecting them and planting them in trays once I see any roots pushing. Except the squirrels eat a lot of the seeds with that method. 😅
Nice informative video. Can't wait for spring to see how these turn out. Fingers crossed for you.
Thanks - I’ll post an update in the spring!
Thanks for the update!
