My cousin has this one. She let me drive it to Taguig McKinley. I didnt know much about the car and got surprised that it cost 3M pesos. It was overall a good experience driving it. High tech features, engine auto stop while in traffic.
Unfortunately the seats in the CX-9 are extremely hard on the side bolsters and have had a lot of complaints on various owner forums. They look great, but you wouldn't want to sit in Manila traffic for any length of time if you're not super skinny.

Considering all the options fitted to the locally available Limited trim, including the B&O sound system, cooled seats, safety tech, panoramic sunroof etc, I'm really surprised it's only 3 million pesos. That's actually not far off the price of a fully loaded Limited in the USA. That 2.3 ecoboost is the same as the base engine in the Mustang so it's pretty quick off the line too.

The energy seem off and more freestyle than previous works, I appreciate it actually every once in a while where you guys all go freestyle and have fun but it feels like you guys are getting comfortable and stale where it might not be good in the long run. Yeah, it may also be due to the dealers or car companies allowing them to do walk around videos only instead of a full review. The walk around videos are relatively boring, in my opinion, and their fun video shooting style is tempered. Their full reviews are still nice, I think.
You forgot the Hyundai Palisade Caco. And maybe to a lesser extent, the Santa Fe and the new Sorento also competes in the midsize crossover segment, albeit not so much in price point. Wish Toyota would offer the Highlander/Kluger as well to compete with this, the CX-9 and the Palisade.
Just saw the 2023 Ford Everest reveal video and I must say the new Everest looks more premium than the Explorer. The interior of the new Everest is also better in my opinion.

The newest Ford Explorer is like a dream Ford of my choice when it comes to SUVs. If it's made in the US, it should have a dual unit speedometer. If not like this one, it only have km as its unit and where is this made it since it's *not made in the US* despite not having a dual unit speedometer? Correct me if I'm wrong. Let me guess, China, even though I thought the only Ford sold in the Philippines that's made in China is the Ford Territory.

@@tlevans62 As same as Indonesia for the price for top trim variant (yaa, AWD, Active Safety Senses and premium packages) and for the trim Underneath it's just 778 million rupiah (maybe 2.8 million in peso) but in Indonesia, Palisade only available in Diesel engine.

For 3m pesos, the interior quality does not seem to justify its price. The CX-9 still is the benchmark for this category.

unfortunately, mustang's body is way much lighter than the explorer.. but all in all, it is the same engine, but will not give the same results..

It won't last long like the n/a v6 and v8 engines. Look at those small displacement Hyundais with turbos. Fast but after 5 years they are gone

COVID does a number on a person. I also did on-cam appearances on TV. It’s been close to two months since I got COVID and I still don’t feel 100% ok.

Bruh, AWD don't have transfer case as like as 4WD for low gear, just differential lock for AWD

I don't know if it's still available here but Hyundai did release the Palisade here in 2019.
It's still available but most of the safety tech was removed and the price is 3.3 million.

The 230VAC port is advantage over the Subaru Evoltis with 120VAC and price wise Ford is better and bigger space
