Amana Colonies, A Nice Place to Shop, Eat, and Drink

I visit Amana Colonies and stop in some of the shops to sample their coffee, pastries, and chocolate. I spent the night in my camper in the parking lot of Millstream Brau Haus, a Harvest Host member. I enjoyed talking to the bartender and the customers.

Search AMANA Colonies, Iowa. There are 7 little communities along a 20 some mile loop. The main town is the most developed with stores. The rest are small communities where people live and work.
