0:22 is that commentator a wizard? Can he look into the future? He called the car upside down even when it was still going completely straight. I guess he jinxed that poor guy.
I believe the #12 at 3:04 needed some help out of the car. He doesn't wear a HANS device just a cushion around his neck. Also the #11 at 4:37 broke a couple vertebrae during the wreck.
The likelihood of survival in a modern Sprintcar crash is surprisingly good, considering the incredibly violent forces that the driver is forced to go through, luckily most of the time, all you'll see are the wrecked car's and bewildered drivers, and not the other way around ... Thankfully!!
Can announcers stop saying upsidedown when the car is laying on its side. I understand the excitement but on it's side vs upside-down is totally different.
@@mrequinox6742 I'm actually a blast, it's just crazy that there is a small wreck and boom cars upside down. I'm just poking fun of the announcer. He is a legend and I like to give him a jab every now and again.
the more I'm beginning to watch motorsports from different regions of the world I'm beginning to notice americans are really poor racers, they always seem to get in really big wrecks.
If you're watching racing from different world regions you may have noticed that U.S racing differs significantly than other countries in track sizes, divisions and car counts. Really fast racing on a huge track with a lot of drivers = really big wrecks. If the drivers really WERE poor racers you would see wrecks like this on every single lap instead of one every few races. Have you actually watched sprint car races or are you basing your opinion on a crash video.

You don’t know how long I’ve waited for this
Excellent compilation. That Carson Short crash at I-55 has my vote.
the fact that everyone got out of their cars under their own power is amazing it really shows how much safety has come

@@jamesonfetterman4869 well when you don’t wear a HANS device in 2023 you are asking for trouble
And yes I realize these are 2022 crashes but it still applies. It should be required.

Some of these might of been the most violent of the year in motor sports, can’t imagine watching live not knowing if the drivers are okay.
Not much crashes as crazily as a sprint car.
I saw most of these live

Sprint car has a mind of its own once you lose the handling.
