I’ve had moments like that but I sleep on my stomach holding a pillow in my right arm. When I was 16 I was woken up by tapping sounds on the headboard of my bed. So I just layed there frozen because my brain just kept saying *Theres someone in your room STAY STILL* all of a sudden it felt like someone layed a 400lbs blanket on my entire body and I got pushed into my bed so far that I saw the mattress at eye level. I couldn’t breath and my vision started getting staticky and then it stopped. I literally bounced upwards like I had jumped from 6 feet and landed on my bed and it bounced me off. Of course it was played off by my grandparents as a bad dream and nothing else happened for months. The next time it happened I managed to say *Please stop* Followed by a whispered scream *NOOO* It actually stopped and I didn’t go running, I just slowly got up and turned on my tv and tried to calm down by watching Cartoon Network reruns of Edd Ed and Eddy. I had my hand behind my head resting on the top of my headboard for my bed and the remote got slapped out of my hand and flew across the room and hit the opposite wall. It felt like someone was behind my bed and just smacked my hand. I don’t think I’ve ever moved so fast in my life to get the fuck out of my room. P.S I told my friends grandmother who had lived in that town *Kingsburg California* for 47 years and apparently it used to be a morticians office that was refurbished into a house. I look down and my glass was near the laptop and the water had spilled, no windows were open, no doors were opened. I live in the second floor, really nothing that could have had the force to knock down the glass
There's the possibility that the glass has formed some condensation and slid to the edge and fell. If there was a slight tilt toward the floor. I've had glass sliding on my kitchen counter. Moisture was under glass, kind of hydroplanes.
I have suffered from sleep paralysis when heavily using alcohol and weed years ago - similar kind of stuff. Auditory hallucinations when falling asleep - very scary, but also the weight on the chest and the black figure at the foot of the bed with bed shaking. Very creepy experience but totally cleared up when I stopped smoking way too much weird in combination with heavy drinking

Y'all in the comments I can control my sleep paralysis, I was taking a nap and woke up unable to move, staring at my door, and I tried as hard as I could at the time to make a demon appear to scare me. My dad told a lot of ghost stories growing up.. but there was one he emphasized that it was a true story.. it was about himself.. he claimed a woman choked him in his sleep and he could not move or speak.. to me it was always just a ghost story, then my grandma from vietnam, who i never really speak to, she told me the same story, she heard my dad choking and struggling to breath and saw it. Scares me to this day.
i have had the same thing i was very sick and i was sleeping and woke up in the night and i felt something there in my room and i could not breath at all. my lungs filled with fluid and i was not doing good. i had my inhaler next to me i grabbed it and took it and yelled as loud as possible for my parents. there was a dark figure in the room and after i yelled it went away and i went to the emergency room i know it was a dark sprite choking me making me not breath. I think i would have died if my inhaler was not in the room.

I doubt anything is gonna come from this, but I have to vent, because whenever I watch videos like this alone in my room I get all fucked up thinking about it, but when I was a kid, I was afraid of the dark. Very normal thing to be afraid of, so I went to my parents room a lot. But to get to my room, I had to go across this landing kinda thing. Pitch black. I could always swear I was hearing things in that landing, but I never saw anything. But this one night, something had come over me, and I had looked out the window.(there was a window on the landing) I saw this little almost like candle flame over right by my garage. And it slowly just like grew and grew and it felt like I was there for like 10 minutes and I was scared stiff. After a while it went behind the garage and I went into my parents room. Since then I have not slept in a room without blinds pulled because for some reason, that shit scared the fuck out of me.

Y'all in the comments I can control my sleep paralysis, I was taking a nap and woke up unable to move, staring at my door, and I tried as hard as I could at the time to make a demon appear to scare me. I stopped the sleep paralysis by relaxing and I moved around a little, and then I purposefully went back to "sleep" and I had it again and it felt so impowering. Thanks for reading this, you're cool.

"The hannon tramp".. I experienced this being on my chest with huge bubble eyes for years. Won't go into details but it progressed to fully awake situations with a unseen and completely dark creature with the only noticeable thing being to bubble like circles in the air
At the end of the bed it was extra dark.... I'm out.

I saw an entity just like he described in a dark hallway. I only saw the top of it, like the silhouette of the figure and it was darker than than the hallway; it motioned like it was running away and then it was gone.

My dad told a lot of ghost stories growing up.. but there was one he emphasized that it was a true story.. it was about himself.. he claimed a woman choked him in his sleep and he could not move or speak.. to me it was always just a ghost story, then my grandma from vietnam, who i never really speak to, she told me the same story, she heard my dad choking and struggling to breath and saw it. Scares me to this day.

i have had the same thing i was very sick and i was sleeping and woke up in the night and i felt something there in my room and i could not breath at all. my lungs filled with fluid and i was not doing good. i had my inhaler next to me i grabbed it and took it and yelled as loud as possible for my parents. there was a dark figure in the room and after i yelled it went away and i went to the emergency room i know it was a dark sprite choking me making me not breath. I think i would have died if my inhaler was not in the room.

I doubt anything is gonna come from this, but I have to vent, because whenever I watch videos like this alone in my room I get all fucked up thinking about it, but when I was a kid, I was afraid of the dark. Very normal thing to be afraid of, so I went to my parents room a lot. But to get to my room, I had to go across this landing kinda thing. Pitch black. I could always swear I was hearing things in that landing, but I never saw anything. But this one night, something had come over me, and I had looked out the window.(there was a window on the landing) I saw this little almost like candle flame over right by my garage. And it slowly just like grew and grew and it felt like I was there for like 10 minutes and I was scared stiff. After a while it went behind the garage and I went into my parents room. Since then I have not slept in a room without blinds pulled because for some reason, that shit scared the fuck out of me.
