Nether Void is not great vs the Deck as doesn't affect the cost to activate Tome/ Scepter and The Deck has a lot of 1 and 2 casting cost spells. If The Deck targets your mana vaults with removal, the Nether Void might work to their advantage.

for sure it has, but its need an explosive start with ritual or mana vault into juzaam or nether void.
i think in this setup you see the match result already after turn 3.

After playing the matchup many many times, I believe that The Deck has the upper hand, simply because it has access to very powerful cards of different colors. Black has only a lineal strategy that could work. But like Tomtom mentioned, it needs to happen very early (T1 or T2). Otherwise The Deck starts getting too comfty and then it just wins 🤓

I must say, though, that turn 1 Hypnotic Specter against a The Deck player without removal in the first hand is almost a guaranteed victory 😃
