- Watch this great tiling tutorial where our tiler Greg shows you how to lay a Victorian tiled pathway. He is using Original Style handcrafted Victorian tiles to do the job. Greg takes you through the whole process of setting out the mosaic border, cutting the tiles with his favourite Rubi tile cutter, mixing and laying onto adhesive, then finally showing you how to apply the grout to get that great finish.

Yes could not agree more,London has become the Okay Coral for so-called builders.One of my bosses is having his cottage built,here in South Kensington, whilst the quality of the materials used are unquestionable so far,the workmanship is "surprising".

Used to do loads of Geometric paths years ago, used to screed the path, trowel over neat liquid cement while screed still damp, and tap tiles straight in. Last forever. And im sure Greg will know, some borders are very complex so to keep the corners looking neat with whole squares or triangles, somewhere halfway along the border there is a little 'fiddle'. Greg will know what im talking about! Whenever i walk past a geometric path, be it 100 years old or 5, i can't help but look for the 'fiddle'.
Great job Greg....done a few of these...most memorable one was when a Postman walked across my work 20 mins after I'd left....not only in but back out again.....

I’m a slab layer and put my hand to anything! But I was to have any tiles done this guy is the man I’d want, everything I’ve watched him do is as close to perfect as possible.

Now I know why I stopped doing this sort of work, it is amazing how the introduction of new materials and grouting makes the job easier, A lovely job and I wish I could claim that as my work, Thank you for showing it. If only my knees would allow me to kneel. Pleased to see you using kneelers. I suffer because I didn't when I was younger so be warned.
