06 Jeep Liberty limited 3.7L. Seems my Jeep is possessed. The horn started continuously honking in the middle of the night, thanks for the video I’m probably going to disconnect the horn today. I can’t wake up in a panic like I did again. Hope my neighbors don’t hate me 😂
Good day what exactly did you order on ebay ? A steering wheel or those that part have a particular name? I am having the same issue relay and fuses are fine but horn still not working.
So the answer is a whole new steering wheel? Any idea why they went bad in the first place? I'm having this problem right now. Same model, same problem.
After you discharge the airbag and remove the old one, it's just reverse installation. Reconnect the battery, then you can do a test from the passenger seat. Airbag light should go off after 8 seconds
@@joeh.9110 thanks for the reply. I'm good until you said "Discharge the airbag" I'm guessing you mean discharge the old one? Don't know how to discharge an airbag. I'm good with a reverse installation if it's just reconnecting plugs. Airbags worry me I've heard stories of them going off during an improper installation. The airbag is my friend since one once saved me in a crash.
@@1cybdiver it was my first time too actually. Discharge meaning, you disconnect the car battery and let any charge remaining in the electronics, including the airbag to "discharge".
Also, this is the only video I've seen with a fuse box like mine. Everything else shows the horn as fuse 1. Thanks so much.

Which relay is the horn relay?
Does anyone know which one the horn relay is? There’s 6 in the fuse box that’s under the steering wheel.

Its the airbag for your year is what you want to search on ebay. The horn "button" which is actually a membrane is built into the airbag

Hi Andre,
I replaced the airbag which contains the horn membrane. You may need to order it online.
I wish you had shown the connections to the airbag a little better. I can do most basic work but the airbag going off or not working again worries me.
