Thank you so much! Super helpful! I was told to keep our chlorine at 3 in summer in Texas (we have Paramount UV FILTER). With all the heat we need to add 1 tablet a day to keep it at 3! Thank you again
Hi @crystaledgepools, we have the PowerClean Tab Ultra, same setup as you have here. When we clean it out, put a few tabs in, and restart the pump (low setting on the chlorinator), it fills with about an inch or two of water and stays about that full for a few days. Then after a few days it fills all the way up to the lid. We can't find any documentation on whether this is normal or not. Should this fill all the way to the top or is there potentially something wrong w/ ours? Thanks!!
I have a cmp inline chlorinator on my new pool. My knob to adjust the flow works backwards. So, clockwise turns it off, and vice versa. And after i add tabs, the flow doesnt work right away. Any thoughts?
That is the nature of the cmp's which are great chlorinators. Typically when you first start up, the air bleed may take a hot minute. Does it come on after prime or still not?
@@CrystalEdgePools yeah, i figured it out. I was looking at the wrong model online. It turns correctly. Also, I was looking at it when my variable speed pump was on its low setting. When it's running on its cleaning cycle it's flowing right.
My chlorinator, the same one you have in this video, is dribbling water inside the chlorinator instead of spraying the tablets with the knob on full go. Do these get clogged? Nobody has a video of what the cause is. Any advice?
Yes, they can get clogged. Disassemble it, check the spray nozzle and straw. Also check both sides of it where the quick disconnects attach. I recommend blowing everything out with compressed air and reassembling. All plastic, all easily disassembled/reassembled. ***Make sure you dont lose any gaskets!***
The uv should always be on when the pump is running. Its just light and very low power consumption. The only time they shut off is with a slow down of flow below the flow switch protection
@CrystalEdgePools But what if your kid finds it? Or what if you get in a fight with someone? Or what if you're drunk and not capable of making good gun decisions? You do realize that statistically, that gun is more likely to kill you or your loved ones than it is to kill a bad guy breaking into your house, right?
@@shannonroberts5080Obama's Sandy Hook report says your assertion is a lie. 380k defensive gun uses a year outnumber accidental deaths. And his kids are almost certainly better educated on gun safety than you.

This is normal. No worries! Just make sure the gasket is good under the cap and snug (hand tight)

How many hours a day is the uv filter running for?

What's the best and most reliable UV system for a pool with 200,000 gallons of water?
The sun (if it's an outdoor pool).
We like the Jandy commercial "low, medium or high pressure UV systems" for that volume of water.
Is it normal that the water level in the chlorinator is up to the led? If it is not normal, what are the potential causes? Thanks
Hi alexherra3918! It would be very helpful to answer your question if you could provide the make/model of your chlorinator.
Why do you have a gun? Lol
I guess there are sharks in the pool
It's Texas, there's big, fast, aggressive rattle snakes.
what's the gun for ?
Authority
Proactive Protection. I also use seatbelts, lock my doors at night, keep my tires rotated, etc.

What's with the gun?
It's not pointed at so it's none of your business Nazi.
