They both very much have some signature tricks. I think zen def had more variation in his style here. Seems there's a judging preference for clean landings over better style. Either way they're very close
@@margofalgo5089 bc all he did was full in and quads with some sideswipes to fill inbetween, zen took different stuff every combo beside the two times full in, shosei did always 3 hit combos which usually always involved a quad or a full in. even though their level was insane, this was one of the most boring battles from shosei's side
the sad reality is, HE CAN DO SO MUCH MORE, but when battling he always picks the things he knows people like to see, i think he's working on that now though, this was a year ago

Zen shows more variety and should’ve won the second round imo. Quad cork is killer but also I know shosei has more in his bag to change his combos up.
He didn't finish a single combo standing and bit more than he could chew by the end of each combo.
