Hi Steve, about your question "how did he (Jeffrey) learn to play guitar like this": at least a bit he got from a 150 year old textbook called "25 progressive studies" by italian composer Matteo Carcassi. It's a standard that basically every classical guitarist has to work his way through which strongly implies that your new friend has classical training. He is playing Study Number 9 in 2:45 and study number 25 in 10:09 so he clearly mastered the whole book - usually something that takes you serveral years. In 7:05 he is playing "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" by Francisco Tarrega, it's kind of signature piece for classical guitar due to the tremolo technique (and it's beauty). This piece is something, that a lot of non-pro classical guitarrists (me included) do not master ( at least not properly). So even given if this little guy had training since he could even hold a guitar it is unbelievable how far it took him in this few year.s
Thank you very much for your analysis of my child. Yes, I have taught my son to practice the entirety of this textbook. Currently we still have three pieces, and it took three and a half years to practice all of this book.❤

I use a Keely modded Metal Zone. I use it to boost my mesa amp with distortion at 0, level maxed, and eq around noon. Its gloriously thick.

Lol
These edits are amazing the piece when the kid smacks him in the face😂😂😂 💀
Yes, I feel inspired as well. I'm so inspired, in fact, that I'm thinking on taking my guitars and throwing them into the fiery depths of Mount Doom.
11:00-11:30 was hands down the best part of the video! 🤣
Hi, Steve! I can’t believe what I just watched! How in the world are these kids that good, especially the boy you called Jeffery?? He didn’t look any older than 3 or 4, yet he’s one of the best guitarists I’ve ever heard! I think your theory is right, they probably learned on TH-cam or some app, my mom taught me the basics of knitting, but I learned everything else about it on TH-cam or Pinterest lol. Great video Steve! Have a good weekend 😃
I can't think of any other reason why they are advancing so quick!! Unless it really is the crack in their cereal!! 😆
Hi name is not Jeffery it's Maituo Lu.
13:07 - If I'm not mistaken, that's called a plucked dulcimer.
15:22 that one literally got me😂😂😂
hahahhaha❤thank you very much😅
Yoo thats jeffrey!!!⬆️
@@karlbelanger6864 Yes, haha, thank you Steven T for the exposure and for giving me my English name
@@karlbelanger6864❤❤❤❤yes❤
I couldn’t even think about playing like that😂 jeez
Now we need to get Jeffery(MaituoGuitar) on lead and Caleb H Drummer on drums, Jadyn Rylee singing and Aronthebassist on bass. and yes they all all on here
11:24 Steve's going insane again.
7:08 Did we fact check if that kid is actually real or an AI generated persona? Because in this frame, he looks 3D.
Looks kind of fake to me too. Reminds of Tin Tin animation. If not, OMG
Once AI masters hands, only live performances will be believable.
If you play close attention to the thumb movement on this one, its slightly off and a little unnatural, its more than likely AI
I thought the same thing
I was thinking that Jeffrey is AI generated because something about the lighting and shadows does not look right.
2:01 That’s crazy that Siri said that 😂😂
Wow, these kids are crazy talented. The ending scene was beautifully funny. 😂
I really enjoyed it because - and it's a secret - I love your guitar playing.😊
(Last Sunday I had a chance to see Slaughter to Prevail live. It was amazing and I have to say Alex is a beast. )
Have a nice weekend Steve!😀
YES! That rage quit - INGENIOUS! 😂 And Steve is so good at guitar, I really could listen to him play for hours.
"Mum, I wanna be like Steve when I grow up!"
"But... you're 31!"
"What? No... I'm 21.. 12, I'm 12" 🤣
Thanks Gabriella!! I always try to incorporate my own playing. Even if I'm getting showed up by a 6 yr old!! 🤣
JEALOUS!! Slaughter to Prevail is my 'go to' heavy band!!!
Üdvözletem hölgyem. Abszolút egyetértek kegyeddel. Egyébiránt látom, hogy Steve sok 🫀-et adott a kisasszonynak:)
Mindenkinek: Greetings from Hell-Heaven-Hungary
🤘🥁🤘

6:30 that kid has great relative pitch dawg
12:54;THE WAY HE FUCKIN WODDELS AWAY LMAO LAUGHING MY ASS OFF
That Marco Sfogli harmonization at the end was 🔥
thank you very much❤
Is that a Marco Sfogli song?
I found it! I was expecting the harmonization hahaha
@@maituoguitar2297 little guitar god 😮
@@angelruenes5585 yes
15:50 “thankkill”
I don't even care about the topic of the video, steve is one of the best guitarist TH-camrs I've ever seen in my life... Thank you Steve for being here.
The only way these kids are these good is because their parents force them to practice for 24 hours a day, no tv, no iPad, just nonstop practice everyday.
That's better than using fucking mobile phone or ipad to be useless
Maitu says he practices 2 hours a day
Not with a 5 yr old kid.
@@bikramsub7365how about the kid’s feelings if they don’t wanna do it?
@letmesober you think he'd be that good if he don't wanna do it? 😂
Alright seriously, the shredding is impressive, but these kids who can finger pick on acoustic are just too much!! Crazy good.
I know right!!! Acoustic finger picking is like a WHOLE other instrument!! Of which I SUCK at!! 🤣
3:01 that classical
0:12 the voice really changed
2:38 Chuck Berry walk
😂😂😂
9:09 is sounding like one of the stages of grief lmao.
❤❤❤❤
3:04 thats classical not acoustic
Erm technically they are the same since they both acoustically produce sound 🤓
3:11 He kind of looks like a puppet. He's cute, though. He kind of reminds me of the main characters on The Dark Crystal.
I can actually kinda see it
11:21 i laughed so loud my parents woke up
Hold up….is that a grown person’s hand doing the finger picking while the kid’s hand is doing the chords???? 13:57
Omg
6:14 PEW! headshot!!
That makes no *SENSE!*
6:13
That thank you at the end was really wholesome 😊😊😊😊
2:57 Uhh your earbud fell out.
it fell in the beat of the song
Kids Bop need to hire these kids ngl
No because then they would be good
“Samuel i dont even know if that is his name”
10:08 "JEFFREY"
Excuse me, Steve. I'm 13 years old, I'm a teenager guitarist and I need to start teaching my 12 year old brother Juan José to play guitar.
Dude I’m 13 and play guitar too!
I love seeing these kids. I hope to see them getting the success that now 15 yr old Taj Farrant is getting. His album Chapter One is #1 in the world iTunes blues charts, and #2 on the Billboard Blues charts. He has worked really hard to get where he is. The best thing for these kids about recognized is the sponsorships from all the guitar and accessories companies. The little guy Jeffrey is freaking amazing. His acoustic guitar skills are amazing!
